MediaCorp launched the 'Design-A-Tee' contest earlier this month and the three-week call for design submission received an overwhelming response of some 1,600 entries - from kids below 10 to senior citizens in their 60s.

MediaCorp announced profit before tax of $11.6 million against revenue of $658.3 million for the financial year ended 31 March 2014.  Revenue grew despite a weak advertising market, shored up by non-advertising revenue sources including content production.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s National Day Message will be broadcast on Friday, 8 August 2014, the eve of National Day, across MediaCorp television, radio stations and on Toggle. The Prime Minister’s message in English will be televised on Channel NewsAsia at 6.45pm, okto at 8.45pm, Channel 5 at 10.00pm. The message will be subtitled for the deaf. The Prime Minister’s message in English can also be heard on MediaCorp radio station 938LIVE at 7.35pm.
