Cherie Tse is a versatile soprano, pianist, and music educator whose musical journey began at the age of five through piano studies. She later made her operatic debut at just 19 years old and has since established herself as a sought-after performer and teacher across classical, musical theatre, and contemporary genres.

A graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music, Cherie holds a Master of Performance with Distinction. As a soprano soloist, she has performed with renowned arts organizations including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera, The Opera People, and Ding Yi Music Company amongst others. Her performance career has taken her across Singapore, Japan, Austria, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.

An accomplished and award-winning vocalist, Cherie’s accolades include First Prize at the NAFA Vocal Competition, Second Prize at the Williams-Howard Memorial Prize 2022 (UK), Second Prize at the 7th Tan Ngiang Kaw/Tan Ngiang Ann Vocal Competition, and the Gold Award at the 5th Bangkok Opera Singing Competition. She was also a finalist in the SLO-ASEAN Vocal Competition (2018) and SEA BachFest Competition (2025). Beyond the classical stage, she gained national recognition as the winning singer of an episode of the television show I Can See Your Voice Singapore.

Alongside her performing career, Cherie is a dedicated freelance piano and voice teacher, guiding students of all ages in pop, musical theatre, and classical singing. Known for her supportive and adaptable teaching approach, she inspires students to develop confidence, artistry, and technical excellence while discovering their unique musical voice.

The Dunman High School Symphonic Band (DHSSB) was formed on 18 March 1967 as a Brass Band. In 1993, it became a Symphonic Band, and later in 2007, the Senior High Band was formed.

With the motto of “军乐队一家人”, DHSSB fosters companionship and camaraderie among all band members, focusing on musicality, as well as nurturing aspiring young musicians.

In recent years, DHSSB has achieved outstanding results, attaining a Distinction in the 2021, 2023 and 2025 SYF Arts Presentations. In addition, they have performed for the Limelight Concert at the Esplanade, Changi Airport Musical Escapades, as well as in a combined concert with SOTA Wind Ensemble at the Victoria Concert Hall.

The Dunman High School String Ensemble (DHSSE) was formed in 1994 and has grown from a modest group of seven violinists to its present strength of 42 musicians. Under the guidance of their conductor Ms Marietta Ku, the ensemble has consistently achieved excellent results at Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Central Judging, attaining Distinction in 2025, 2023, 2021 and 2019. String Ensemble members have also participated in performances at the Esplanade Concourse, as well as numerous VIA performances at Nursing Homes to engage people from all walks of life and contribute back to the society.

Comprising students united by a shared passion for string music, the ensemble performs a wide range of repertoire, from classical favourites to contemporary works, showcasing both musical artistry and teamwork. Through regular practice and collaboration, members strive to bring meaningful and enjoyable musical experiences to their audiences while celebrating the joy of making music together.

Khalif, 8, has autism and is currently a junior programme student at Rainbow Centre Yishun Park School. He is a warm and friendly boy who enjoys greeting everyone he meets and exploring new places. Khalif loves to sing and dance—this could be a great way to break the ice with him!

As part of SMRT’s Voices Campaign, held in conjunction with World Autism Awareness Month and in partnership with Rainbow Centre, Khalif lent his voice to a station announcement encouraging commuters to support more inclusive travel experiences. The announcement was played across all SMRT stations from 10–12 April 2026.

Sarah Mae, formally known as “Marae”, is a Pop-R&B singer, songwriter and performer. With hints of a Gospel background, she utilises her vocal prowess to shape music to her will, drawing inspiration from artists like Tori Kelly, and RAYE. Her music says the things that otherwise remain unspoken, and let’s listeners escape into their heads sonically.

With over a decade of performing experience under her belt, Sarah is no stranger to the stage. She has competed in various competitions like the 2023 Changwon K-pop World Festival Singapore Preliminary, and Singapore’s first season of “I Can See Your Voice 2025” and won.

In the social media space, Sarah Mae has also built up an online presence. Especially recently with her 2025 single collaboration “Falling Slowly” with industry veteran, Narysal. Catching the eyes of fans of the hit film “Kpop Demon Hunters” with its storytelling, the #fallingslowly generated over 1 million views and garnered over 100K streams within the first month of release.

Having dropped her debut EP “Goodbye” in April 2026, and with her new rebrand as “Sarah Mae”, this launches her music into a whole new universe she’s building from candid levels of honesty and freedom.

Beginning her singing journey on the Getai stage at the tender age of 13, Rahila Rashun has built a remarkable career through perseverance, passion, and unwavering dedication. Today, she is recognised as one of Singapore’s prominent Malay entertainers, known for her powerful vocals, captivating stage presence, and remarkable versatility. From contemporary pop and power ballads to dangdut and traditional Malay music, Rahila effortlessly navigates a wide range of musical genres, captivating audiences across generations and cultural backgrounds.

An accomplished multilingual singer, Rahila performs in Malay, English, Mandarin, Hokkien, Cantonese, and Tamil, enabling her to connect with diverse audiences and showcase an exceptionally broad repertoire. Her extensive performance experience has also seen her share the stage with renowned regional artistes such as Dayang Nurfaizah, Inul Daratista, Taufik Batisah, and Jaclyn Victor, further reflecting her standing as a respected performer within the regional entertainment scene.

Her talent has earned regional recognition, including a Top 6 finish in Akademi Fantasia 2016 (Malaysia), a Top 7 placing in Dangdut Academy Asia 3 (Indonesia) in 2017, and the title of Champion of SG Mania 3, organised by Mediacorp Suria, where she emerged victorious against 12 of Singapore’s top Malay singers.

Shak'thiya Subramaniamm, better known in the local music scene endearingly as just “Shak”, began writing music during his National Service. It was around this time when he also found a love for poetry and was an avid attendee of monthly Open-Mic nights in Singapore, where he serendipitously first found audiences as a singer.

When he was a relative newcomer to the music scene, Shak already stood out with his rich vocal timbre and intense emotional delivery, and soon was selected to be part of the NOISE Music Mentorship programme (2016) where he was mentored by Inch Chua and Jack Hoand The Great Singapore Replay (2017) where he was mentored by Charlie Lim.

Formerly the frontman of his own band aptly named Shak and The Baits (now defunct), the band’s distinct blend of blues, soul, bluegrass and funk music entertained local audiences at many notable performances including the Shine Festival (2017), Singapore Night Festival (2016 & 2017), Mediacorp New Year’s Eve Countdown Show (2018, 2019), Neon Lights (2016 and on the main stage in 2019). The band also reached regional audiences with their performance at Fringe Manila (2018). The band also went on tour in Malaysia and Australia (2018).

Shak’s gentle disposition in conversation belies his phenomenal stage presence. As a solo artiste, his soulful voice took to the national stage during his performance at the National Day Parade in 2018. Singaporeans might also recognise him from his appearances in the National Day Theme Song videos in both 2018 and 2019. Shak was also part of the Singapore Day (2018) contingent to London, where he performed for thousands of overseas Singaporeans.

In 2021 he released his long awaited 5 track EP Sitting at Home: a compilation of songs that were written between 2013 to 2018 and voted for by fans to be recorded and released.

Shak is currently the lead singer of several bands, The Midnight Suns (Rock n Roll/Blues/Country) and the Halfway Crooks (Neo Soul) to mention a few. These bands are currently working on new material slated for release later in the year.

Sharon Shobana Vasudevan is an award-nominated singer, songwriter, and actress known for her contributions to Singapore's entertainment industry. Following her breakthrough appearance on Vasantham Star 2017, she has built a strong presence across television, live performances, and digital media.

As an independent artiste, Sharon has released original music that showcases her artistry as both a songwriter and performer, earning recognition for her distinctive sound and authentic storytelling. Her work has led to award nominations and opportunities to perform at prominent cultural, corporate, and entertainment events, establishing her as a respected voice in the local creative scene.

Through her music and media presence, Sharon continues to inspire audiences while expanding her artistic footprint beyond the stage.

Shayne is a talented young multi-instrumentalist who began his musical journey at the age of 51⁄2, starting with piano before taking up drums at age 6. Today, he performs confidently on piano, keyboard, drums, and smart guitar, combining technical skill with a passion for connecting with audiences through music.

Despite his young age, Shayne has performed extensively at community, corporate, private, and public events, including appearances at Sentosa and Changi Airport. He has also collaborated with organisations such as NIE, Singapore Power, the Singapore Navy, SAF, and Mediacorp.

His musical achievements have been recognised by major media outlets, having been interviewed and featured by Mothership, Mediacorp Channel 8, and The Straits Times. Known for his warm personality, professionalism, and engaging stage presence, Shayne continues to inspire audiences of all ages with his dedication, versatility, and love for music.

Award wining Singaporean singer-songwriter Sherman Zhuo anchors his music in soulful ballads, drawing from a foundational mix of Pop R&B, Pop Rock, and more. While staying true to his artistic identity, Sherman constantly pushes his creative boundaries, exploring different genres to showcase the many facets of his songwriting. Other notably milestone was in 2024, Sherman was the only Singaporean Representative in one of Taiwan’s biggest international music festival - JAM JAM ASIA Music Festival.

A "Show" percussion group to begin with, UDC is a definite showstopper whenever and wherever they perform. Often imitated but never equaled, the ORIGINAL playing styles, approach & methods using different drums of the Urban Drum Crew are first & unique throughout the World.

UDC’s passion stirs them to constantly define a truly unique Singaporean style for drumming and the art form itself as opposed to adopting other prevalent & similar drumming cultures found in other countries.

is a name synonymous with live music in Singapore, standing as a headline act in the vibrant local music scene for over two decades. Renowned for their pitch-perfect vocals and technically accomplished instrumentation, the band’s musicality has firmly established them as one of Singapore’s most recognisable and respected live acts. 53A seamlessly traverses a wide spectrum of genres, including Oldies, Top 40s pop, Alternative, and Rock. Their versatility has seen them perform not only in intimate live music venues but also on some of the country’s biggest stages at major music events.

In 2010, 53A released their original album Settle the Kettle, which received positive reviews from TODAY, The Business Times, and TIME Magazine. The band is fronted by the distinctive voice of Sara Wee, alongside vocalist and lead guitarist Amir Shazwan, vocalist and bassist Bani Hidir, vocalist and drummer Helman Kamal, and powerhouse vocalist and accomplished keyboardist Lisa Haryono. The collective depth of their professional experience, paired with their infectious personalities, has created a signature 53A charm—making them a perennial favourite at live music venues across the island.

Among their most notable accolades, 53A was the feature act for the National Day Parade in 2016 (SG51) and 2023 (SG58), and was also flown to Osaka, Japan to represent Singapore at the World Expo in 2025. At the National Day Parades, the band performed their signature NDP Medley, the 2016 NDP Theme Song “Tomorrow’s Here Today”, and the 2023 NDP Theme Song “Shine Your Light”, further cementing their legacy as a defining voice in Singapore’s music landscape.
