The Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert 2026 looks to bring communities together to celebrate our nation’s 61th birthday at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay on Sunday, 2 August 2026. You can look forward to an array of carnival-themed activities and entertainment from 4.30pm, followed by exciting performances from our homegrown talents at the concert happening from 7.45pm to 9.30pm. -

Will there be fireworks?
Yes! As part of the concert, which starts at 7.45pm, you can look forward to a fireworks display that will illuminate the night sky at Gardens by the Bay in a myriad of colours. -
Can we bring our own food?
Yes! Take the opportunity to picnic with your family and friends by packing your own food and beverages. You can also check out the delicious items for sale at the food trucks and stalls stationed at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay. -
Will there be seats?
This is a free-standing event. You are free to sit or stand at your own designated corner to enjoy the performances, so head down early to stake out a spot for yourself!Mats are welcomed! However, please refrain from bringing along large chairs and inflatable seats that would block your neighbours’ view.

Will there be bag checks for the event?
Yes, there will be security bag checks prior to entry.Please note that you will NOT be allowed to bring in:
- Weapons and sharp objects of any kind (including long umbrellas, guns, metal or ceramic knives, corkscrews etc.)
- Flammable items & liquids (aerosols, fireworks, etc.)
- Bicycles and personalised motor vehicles
- Missile/ projectile-like objects
- Laser pointers
- Remote controlled aerial cameras, planes, helicopters or other similar devices
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not comply with the above.

Is there any maximum capacity for safety?
Entry may be denied if crowds hit the maximum capacity so do arrive early! -
Is this an all-ages event? Is it accessible to the elderly, families with strollers, or people in wheelchair?
This event is open to all! Priority lane access is available for the elderly and persons with disabilities, so please approach our ushers for assistance.Please note that The Meadow has uneven grass surfaces, posing some challenges to navigating the grounds. If you can’t join us at The Meadow, you can catch the concert as it airs on mewatch, Channel 5 and Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube Monday, 10 August, from 7.00pm to 8.30pm.
A repeat telecast will air on Saturday, 15 August, from 5.00pm to 6.30pm.

Will re-entry be allowed?
Re-entry to the venue is subject to venue capacity at the point of re-entry. However, those re-entering will have to join the queue again, and undergo security bag checks for re-admission. -
Will there be first aid or security at the event?
We take the safety and security of everyone seriously, and will be undertaking all necessary measures to ensure this. Throughout the event, armed police officers will be on patrol.Those who require medical assistance can approach any of the roving medics or the red first-aid tent. An ambulance is also on standby at the venue for emergency cases.
Should anyone feel unwell or spot any suspicious activity, please alert the working crew on-site.

Can I smoke inside the event grounds?
The Gardens is smoke-free. -
Are there toilets and diaper changing facilities at the event?
There are public toilets, including accessible toilets, as well as diaper-changing facilities within the vicinity of The Meadow and around Gardens by the Bay. -
Will there be Lost & Found booth at the event?
The Lost & Found counter will be within the First Aid Booth. Please return any lost items to the Lost & Found counter. Please take note not to hand over any found items to staff or guards. -
Can I bring pets to the event?
You may bring your pets along for the concert. Please keep them leashed at all times, clean up after your pets and dispose of all waste in a hygienic manner. -
What if it rains when the show is on?
The organisers will be monitoring conditions according to the National Environment Agency’s weather advisories. Activities will continue in the event of light rain, so do bring along your own umbrellas and ponchos. Should there be heavy rain with the presence of thunder and lighting, all activities will be halted until further notice. -
If the weather looks treacherous before the start of the event, will the show be cancelled?
If there is threat of inclement weather, please check our social media platforms and website for latest updates before you head down to Gardens by the Bay. -
