67 brands came together in An Ode to Healthcare Frontliners project to show appreciation for the heroism in our healthcare workers

To show appreciation and recognition for our local frontline heroes combatting COVID-19, 67 companies came together to assemble 5,000 special Care Packages containing over 70,000 essential items for our healthcare front-liners. These Care Packages which included essential items like anti-bacterial hand washes, face masks, vitamins, health supplements, beverages, snacks, food staples, water bottles and vouchers, were delivered to 12 hospitals and polyclinics over two weeks from 29 February.

This remarkable feat was made possible by participating companies including Abbott Laboratories, BHG Singapore, BMW, City Developments, FWD Global, Giant, Harvey Norman, KFC, Lazada, Mediacorp, MSIG Insurance, Nestle, Samsung and many more. Mediacorp artistes Zoe Tay, Xiang Yun, Desmond Tan, Elvin Ng, Paige Chua, Priscelia Chan and Zhang Ze Tong supported the initiative with delivery of the Care Packages and gave words of encouragement.

This joint effort brought great cheer and smiles to our unsung healthcare heroes as seen on video interstitials across our national media network of TV channels, MeWatch, as well as on social media. The project was extremely well-received by the public – with the artistes’ 13 posts chalking over 21,000 positive interactions on social media, with reach of over 350,000!
