Daud Yusof

Daud Yusof is a veteran journalist & presenter with the Malay News & Current Affairs. A familiar face on SURIA’s longest running programme in history – BERITA – Daud covered many major Malay/Muslim and national events including General Elections. 

Daud also pioneered the longest running one-on-one current affairs interview programme on SURIA. BICARA, which ran for more than a decade, featured regular exclusive interviews with local and international personalities who were movers and shakers in their respective fields including politicians, scholars, entertainers & entrepreneurs.  

A double major in Political Science & Malay Studies from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Daud is passionate about the Malay language and represented the NUS in the ASEAN Inter-Varsity Malay Debate in Kuala Lumpur. Appointed as Malay Language Ambassador since 2012, Daud also sits in the National Translation Committee Malay Resource Panel and the Malay Language Council of Singapore (MLCS). 

He’s a very big fan of chocolates & ice-cream.
