Nursha Ismail is a Senior Producer-Presenter in broadcasting journalism with over a decade of experience. She is recognised for her role as the anchor of the primetime 8pm news bulletin, Berita Mediacorp.

Nursha’s extensive journalistic background includes covering significant national and international events such as the 2018 North Korea-United States Singapore Summit, the state funeral of Minister Lee Kuan Yew, and major elections.

Her expertise extends to producing current affairs programs and award-winning documentaries like Kebaya Gaya Nusantara. The documentary exploring history, anthropological, and social influences of the traditional garment kebaya in Southeast Asia is part of the nomination for UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage.

Nursha is also known for hosting and producing Detik Personaliti, a popular monthly interview series featuring prominent figures across diverse fields. Notably, her interview with Singapore Mufti, Dr Nazirudin Nasir, gained front-page coverage.

Nursha’s unwavering commitment and passion for her work have earned her recognition as the Malay Language Ambassador by the Malay Language Council and as the face of kebaya for the National Heritage Board.
