Soh Bee Lan

Bee Lan currently presents and produces for Morning Express, Channel 8’s morning live show, and 1PM News.

She was host for Hello Singapore, Channel 8’s primetime news programme,  as well as talk show On Air with Ministers in 2018 and 2019, where she discussed critical national issues with cabinet ministers, experts and invited guests.

Bee Lan joined Mediacorp as a producer with current affairs programme, Frontline, which lends a voice to the people, reflecting their views on national policies and hot-button issues. 

A graduate from Fu Jen Catholic University, Bee Lan holds a double degree in BFA in Communication Arts and B.Sc in Psychology. She is also conversant in English and Hokkien, and enjoys being a mother to three beautiful kids.

“坐不住”的我，高中毕业时就萌生加入媒体行业的念头，希望能透过与人互动，挖掘社会脉动。

刚加入新传媒这个大家庭时，我有幸在时事节目《前线追踪》磨练采访技巧，探讨本地民生课题，并担任《前线开讲》编导工作。

2016年，我迎向职业新挑战，从幕后走到台前，加入新闻资讯类节目《狮城有约》，担任现场主持工作。

2018年和2019年，我参与制作和主持《空中访民情》论坛节目，同我国部长和社会人士探讨国家发展课题。

2020年的冠病疫情为我的职业生涯带来新转折。在大约一年的居家办公时间里，我重新思考人生方向、重新调整生活重心。也在这时，我有幸加入晨间新闻节目《晨光第一线》，主持和编辑时事新闻，并在《1点新闻》主播岗位上扩充与观众的接触点。

从年轻时“坐不住”的我，到现在“坐着”工作的我，心境沉稳了一些，心态开阔了一些，但愿心思也能缜密一些。

加入新传媒时单身的我，现在已经是三个娃的妈。

早上我在公司值班，下午我回家值班，继续在这缺眠的日子里，同大家见证新加坡的前进。
