How time flies! It has been 3 years since we had our inaugural Creatives Assembly in 2021.

Thank you for your continued support towards the annual Creatives Assembly.

Over the last three years, we have received many innovative concepts, many of which have been commissioned into success series across Mediacorp’s platforms, and many have gone on to win accolades at the various prestigious annual International Awards.

In our continuous efforts to constantly better our approach towards the annual Creative Assembly to ensure a more interactive and engaging event, over the last year, we have made a conscious effort to gather feedback from the industry on how we could further up the ante of the Creatives Assembly. One key common feedback we had observed was the preference for a more focused calls to also be made available across the year, apart from the big call during the annual Creatives Assembly.

We heard you!

On this note, we are pleased to announce that, moving forward, there will be a shift in approach towards our call for proposals based on the valuable feedback received from you.

The annual Creatives Assembly will continue to position itself as a call for submission at a broader and non-prescriptive manner, wherein industry players can submit their innovative and out-of-the-box ideas. However, alongside this, we will also introduce smaller targeted calls by genre and language to be positioned during the FY for the respective languages and platforms.

Below illustrates a typical CFP calendar with effect from FY25:

  • May – Annual Creatives Assembly Event
  • July – Kids CFP (All Languages)
  • September – Malay Telemovies
  • November – Indian Holiday Specials

In order to facilitate a smooth transition to the new approach, we will for the remaining part of this year have a series of focused calls for scripted and unscripted content to be held in October. We will not be holding the annual Creative Assembly this year. Instead, our focus will be to prep for the next big annual Call to be held at the beginning of May 2025. Following the Creatives Assembly in May, as per our calendar illustrated above, the remaining focused calls will follow suit in July, September and November 2025 respectively.

The event also facilitated meaningful connections among fellow creatives through engaging networking sessions.
