WELCOME TO CREATIVES ASSEMBLY 2022!

Creatives Assembly is Mediacorp’s annual call for ideas exercise where we seek out the best concepts that merit a commission. Back for its second run after its successful inaugural launch in 2021, we are excited to welcome you to Mediacorp Campus on 3 November 2022 with Creatives Assembly taking place as an in-person event for the first time ever! A not-to-be-missed highlight of the event will be the series of live pitches during the Content Development Pitch segment, from which we will select a winning concept. Come join us to also learn more about Mediacorp's commissioning and content development processes, hear insightful sharings from industry experts, and network with fellow creatives.

Creatives Assembly 2022 Opening Address
  • Keeping It Real
Industry experts share their personal journeys in giving an authentic voice to their products, and why telling stories that are relevant and impactful is critical in this day and age. We shine the spotlight on the Singapore-way of storytelling, through shows that have resonated strongly with our viewers.
  • Collaborating Across Creative Industries
The more we get together the happier we'll be. How can we leverage each others strengths to create a 1+1=3? We hear from individuals who have worked across different creative sectors on how we find the win-win, and expand our stories to a wider audience.
  • Ask Mediacorp Anything: A Rated Conversation
"How does the repeal of 377A affect content production?" and other burning questions that you finally get a chance to ask David on, in this intimate one-on-one session, moderated by none other than Khim Loh, President of the Association of Independent Producers (AIPRO)
  • Breaking New Ground
Increasing our appetite for risk-taking is something Mediacorp is more and more so looking to do. Creatives share how they experiment with new ways of storytelling / production, and scale up on our projects.
  • A Call for Ideas: Mediacorp Commissioning Brief
What is Mediacorp's network strategy? What does it mean to be platform and language-agnostic? How can our content partners leverage our network-based approach? The commissioning team will share what content Mediacorp will be looking out for in the coming years, and detail the process of submitting ideas.
