A scripted or unscripted concept that can be designed for high volume release on digital platforms such as YouTube. Content must be visual, entertaining and enriching to our audience. The concept can be hosted or not, but must have a clear message. Content must be relatable to a wide kids audience, and it will be a plus if it ties into popular social media trends.
Brief 2
Target Audience: 7-12-year-olds
Episodes | Duration | Language: please propose
An unscripted series of any of these genres: game shows, lifestyle (music, food, toys, cooking, handicraft, gaming), reality formats – that can be released on a consistent and regular basis (weekly). The concept themes can center around culture, syllabus or general learning but all permutations must embody the brand values of being “enriching & entertaining” and more importantly be visual. We encourage for the content to be hosted, and it is key to explain why that host has been shortlisted and whether they have appeal to the target audience. Lastly, the content should depict the kids as empowered – they should be the ones in charge and not “led by adults”.
Brief 3
Target Audience: Family / Mass, 7-12-year-olds
Language: Malay / Indian
Episodes | Duration: please propose
This category is specific to vernacular languages, for both scripted and unscripted genres. We seek content themes like comedy, music and food. They can be treated as sitcoms, game shows or even reality-based programmes. The content should be designed for family viewing but still embody the brand values of being “enriching & entertaining”. We prefer if the content is hosted – and it is important to explain why that host has been shortlisted and whether they appeal to the target audience. The content should also harness community values that are relevant to the target audience.
