A fresh and captivating concept of any genre that highlights the power of inclusivity, authentically reflecting our diverse society. The series should embrace individuals from all walks of life and have characters and stories that connect emotionally with the audience.
- Think about social issues of strong relevance that will spark discussions around pertinent topics; spectacles/social phenomenon that have high talkability and generate chatter; the series must well intrigue and engage our audience.
- You could also do this by reflecting Singapore's rich history or unique culture, or incorporating elements that are symbolic of the nation or community’s identity.
Also, consider the potential of building a story universe that allows the narrative to transcend and appeal to various audience groups, ensuring that it resonates with a wider audience base, both locally and internationally.

An adaptation of a Singapore intellectual property (IP) that could originate from either the theatre or literary arts, or any other artforms that tell a story. We hope to shine a light on local arts, bringing local stories and talents to a wider community via Mediacorp’s wide array of platforms. We seek to adapt the series in a way that is relatable to a mass audience, and authentic to the Singapore voice. Even better if the series can travel beyond Singapore shores.

An exciting universe of character-driven stories that feature inter-connected communities. They should experience the highest highs and lowest lows faced by Singaporeans from all walks of life – spanning age and race. We are not opposed to darker tones and themes – life is not a bed of roses – but stories should still be family-friendly. We want to remain relatable even as we take our audiences through emotional rollercoasters and dramatic cliffhangers. Viewers should feel compelled to follow the characters through to the end of the show. Painting an authentic Singapore is important, so it would be ideal if characters have opportunities to speak in their native mother-tongue languages (eg, Mandarin, Malay, Tamil), and if stories cover pertinent Singapore themes and issues.
