The objective of this series is to position Deepavali as a colourful, vibrant, and inclusive celebration that brings people together across generations and communities, while making the festival feel relevant, entertaining, and meaningful for today’s audiences.

Theme: Vannamaya Deepavali — Colourful & Vibrant

We are looking for fresh, social-first content ideas for a Deepavali campaign series that celebrates the spirit of Vannamaya Deepavali through relatable, entertaining, and emotionally engaging storytelling.

The series should resonate strongly with Gen Z and young audiences in Singapore by capturing authentic everyday Deepavali moments — from festive preparations and family dynamics to friendships, food, traditions, fashion, and modern celebrations.

  • Format: Short-form live-action, 9:16, Full Screen.
  • Episode length: 1.5 to 2 minutes.
  • Total episodes: 20 clips
  • Languages: English &/or Tamil (with subtitles).
  • Tone: Authentic and contemporary, Light-hearted yet emotionally resonant, Shareable and socially engaging, Reflective of Singapore’s multicultural and modern lifestyle
  • Fun, relatable, humorous, and heart-warming
  • Rooted in authentic Singaporean experiences and cultural nuances
  • Social-native and platform-friendly (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
  • Visually vibrant, colourful, and energetic in line with the Vannamaya Deepavali theme
  • Inclusive and accessible to audiences across different communities and generations
