Renowned for his distinctive flair, Celebrity Chef Melvyn Lee, a standout figure in Singapore's culinary realm, has soared to prominence with his extraordinary culinary prowess and captivating personality. Featuring prominently in various travel and cooking shows, including his acclaimed series "Accidental Chef," where he traversed eight Asian countries, immersing viewers in their cultures and cuisines, and even cooking for high-profile individuals. After which, he garnered endorsements from multiple companies, expanding his television presence with over 30 special appearances. Chef Melvyn also volunteers as guest judge and give talks in culinary institutes like At-Sunrice, Shatec, Republic polytechnic and overseas Berjaya University to inspire the new generation of chefs with insides to the industry he has dabbled through his years.
A graduate of At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy, Chef Melvyn honed his culinary skills in esteemed kitchens such as Al Forno and Il Lido. Fueled by his passion for agriculture and insatiable appetite to explore the world, he transitioned into a private chef, embarking on a journey to craft culinary masterpieces. Now recognized as the Asian Food Soldier, Chef Melvyn persistently strives for evolution, cultivating a unique style that seamlessly blends Asian and Western cuisines, presenting innovative recipes that delight food enthusiasts.
Chef Melvyn not only elevates the dining experience with his culinary expertise but also contributes to the betterment of society through his heartwarming charity initiatives across Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Chef Melvyn speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Thai Language and conversational Cantonese. He’s now a talent with The Celebrity Agency. He had co-hosted with Yang Guang Ke Le on “The Wonder Shop. His recent projects include the movie “King of Hawkers”, Channel 8 variety show “Makan on Wheels” and Channel 5 variety show “Makan Kakis - Heritage Food Edition”, co-hosting with DJ Denise Tan.
