Philip Chew

Philip is an esteemed radio DJ with an illustrious career spanning over three decades in the industry. Since 1985, Philip has been a stalwart presence on the airwaves, save for a notable 2-year stint at MTV Asia as a music programmer. His journey commenced as a DJ on Radio 1, followed by Perfect 10 987, Class 95, and presently, Gold 905.

Philip's influence extends beyond radio, encompassing television hosting duties on TV shows such as Entertainment Line and It's Your Move. He has also hosted various roadshows and specials, including River Rhapsody on Channel 5 during the late 80’s and early 90’s.

His versatility is evident in his diverse skill set, including hosting corporate events and book launches in the early 2000’s. He has also done various voice-over works for commercials and corporate videos, as well as hosting a music album review segment on Channel News Asia. Philip's commitment to music also extends to roles as a music director and assistant program manager while with 987, Class 95 and Gold 905.

Outside the studio, Philip indulges in an array of interests, including collecting action figures and comic book character statues, sketching, painting, enjoying movies and TV shows, travelling, collecting movies on blue ray steel books, and comic books.
