Winter is here. Toggle’s new HBO GO offering brings you Game of Thrones and Hollywood’s hottest hits

Singapore, 13 February 2019 – Introducing HBO GO on Mediacorp’s digital entertainment platform Toggle, bringing more compelling content to our customers on their favourite digital devices, minus the need for set-top boxes and installation.

Available from 14 February 2019, HBO GO complements Toggle’s extensive line-up with HBO’s internationally acclaimed array of premium programming – like the highly anticipated final season of Game of Thrones – at prices that are among the most affordable on the current market. Toggle is offering HBO GO as a monthly package for $13.98 or an annual package that will cost subscribers as little as $10 per month.1

This collaboration between HBO Asia and Mediacorp is indicative of Mediacorp’s commitment to working with global media partners. By bridging the best of both entertainment ecosystems, HBO GO on Toggle will furnish fans with an elevated viewing experience via these elements:

All-access subscriptions to HBO’s award-winning content. The monthly service1 provides subscribers with the full works from HBO GO’s six streaming channels which can be watched anytime, anywhere, alongside a vast library of Hollywood and Asian theatricals as well as U.S. original versions of HBO’s award-winning shows.

Intuitive interface for seamless service. The seamless integration of HBO GO within the Toggle service has been designed to confer an effortlessly elegant experience for users.

Unlike other app-in-app configurations that compel consumers to exit existing interfaces to activate their secondary apps, HBO GO is fully accessible within the Toggle app for easy navigation. Toggle subscribers can opt for the experiential enjoyment bestowed by big-screen Smart TVs and Apple TV, or the convenience of commuter-friendly mobile devices.

They can also expect to enjoy a gamut of genres by simply switching between their favourite free-to-air Mediacorp productions and HBO GO’s wealth of Western blockbusters, from the dramatic denouement of the aforementioned Game of Thrones saga to cinematic crowd-pleasers like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) and Ready Player One (2018).

Jonathan Spink, CEO, HBO Asia said: “We’re excited to be working with Mediacorp and Toggle to expand the reach of our online streaming service, HBO GO, in Singapore. More subscribers in Singapore will now have easy access to stream HBO Asia’s network of six channels and watch Hollywood and Asian movies, as well as award-winning HBO Original content from U.S. and Asia.”

Tham Loke Kheng, CEO, Mediacorp said: “We’re thrilled to be offering HBO GO on Toggle, our digital entertainment service. With HBO GO, we will be delivering even more compelling content to our consumers on their favourite digital devices. We’re catering to multi-screen consumption habits, minus the need for set-top boxes and manual installation. What’s great as well is that HBO GO is fully accessible within the Toggle app. This allows for easy navigation in a friendly environment that Toggle users are already familiar with.”
