The drama series will premiere on both streaming platforms simultaneously on 25 September.
BEC World Public Company Limited (BEC), Thailand’s leading content and entertainment platform, and Singapore’s national media network Mediacorp have inked a content acquisition deal for the roll out of more than 600 hours of Thai dramas on the latter’s digital video service mewatch for free. Selected shows will also air on the company’s free-to-air platform Channel U.
All new and existing mewatch, Singtel TV and StarHub TV customers will be able to catch the electrifying games at no extra cost.
In an exciting twist that promises to dial up the competition and drama this season, contestants will be divided into three teams of six, each led by one of the three judges: Chefs Audra Morrice, Bjorn Shen and Damian D’Silva. This novel format sets the stage for a sizzling showdown between contestants and judges alike, across challenges that continue to celebrate and elevate local cuisine.
The Incubator builds on the success of the Accelerator, a key initiative in Mediacorp’s vision to create a vibrant and self-sustaining social creator ecosystem in Singapore.
The partnership brings together Ecosystm’s deep research and thought leadership in the technology sector and Mediacorp's strong creative capabilities and wide audience reach.
The deal will see four popular Mediacorp English dramas and two classic movie titles produced by Mediacorp Raintree Pictures, available on-demand to Amazon Prime Video’s customers in Malaysia and Singapore.
