Free-to-air (FTA) television remains the most widely accessed medium, reaching more than eight in 10 of the adult population, based on the latest Nielsen Singapore Media Index Report released last week.

This latest Nielsen report was conducted between July 2014 to June 2015 and surveyed 4,683 of the Singapore population aged 15 and above on their media consumption. Results are weighted by age, sex and race to be representative of the Singapore population.

· FTA television remains the most pervasive platform at weekly reach at 84.6% of the population.
· FTA television viewership across all channels grew by 0.8% year-on-year for TV watched past week.
· Channel 8 continues to be the highest watched TV channel with weekly reach at 57.0% of the population
· Suria is the only FTA channel that registered increased viewership by 15.4% year-on-year for TV watched yesterday
