Ready for Spartan Beast?


Over 8,400 participants came and conquered the Reebok Spartan Race Singapore on 7 May 2016. The jungled terrain on the outskirts of Tampines was filled with cheers of victory and jubilee as the Spartans accomplished their obstacles.

In its second year, the Reebok Spartan Race Singapore attracted seasoned top athletes to battle its inaugural Spartan Sprint Race of 13KM and 30 obstacles, and inducted thousands of new participants to the returning Spartan Sprint Race of 5KM and 20 obstacles. The participation for Junior Spartan Race was electrifying, with over 1,300 excited children climbing, running and tumbling towards the finish line.

For hardcore Spartans racers waiting to earn their Spartan Trifecta, they will be able to do so at the Spartan Beast happening this November, 19 – 20 in Bintan island, Indonesia. To earn their Trifecta, racers have to complete 3 Spartan distances – Sprint, Super and Beast – in one calendar year. Spartan Beast race is 21KM with over 33 obstacles. The November race will be on tougher terrain, with new obstacles and a music festival on the end of Day 1.

With $2 million worth of publicity line-up across Mediacorp platforms, it is targeted to reach 872,000 potential Spartans. Sponsorship benefits are abundant, from pre-race roadshows, product sampling for race pack, customised obstacles for corporate teambuilding, to creative executions at race day. Post-race, there is potential to reach over 7.5 million via social media.
