Mediacorp’s Channel 5 first 199-episode daily drama, Tanglin, is winning the hearts of Singaporeans with rising viewership since it first aired on 30 June last year.
At the start of 2016, the show had a total of 3.28 million catchup views on Toggle. While Toggle It First, a subscribed and paid platform which allows viewers to watch five episodes in advance, recorded 349,085 views for the 145 episodes. In Singapore, the hashtag #TanglinCh5 continues to trend Top 5 in Twitter during most weeknights.
As viewers continue to tune in to enjoy the joys, trials and tribulations of the Tongs, Bhaskars, Rahmans and Lims in their Tanglin neighbourhood, advertisers could take this opportunity to reach out to their audience too.
