Catch Team Singapore at Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games on Mediacorp’s breadth of platforms

Singapore, 21 March 2018 –Next month, Singapore audiences can catch over 550 hours of sporting action at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games on Mediacorp’s multiple platforms including digital, television, radio, and social for free. The Games will be broadcast on oktoSports, the sports belt on okto, and Toggle, its digital entertainment service. 

Toggle will provide the widest coverage of the Games with seven live channels dedicated to games action with a focus on Team Singapore’s participation. The sporting action and curated daily highlights are available for catch-up.

The Games will be carried on free-to-air okto’s sportsbelt, oktoSports from 4 April to 15 April, with games action and daily highlights between 5.00pm and 9.00pm on weekdays, and between 3.00pm and 9.00pm on weekends.
  
Highlights of the Games telecast include:  

1.    The Opening Ceremony, on 4 April from 6.00pm to 9.00pm
a.    oktoSports
b.    Toggle Simulcast

2.    The Closing Ceremony, on 15 April from 6.30pm to 8:45pm
a.    oktoSports
b.    Toggle Simulcast

3.    Daily Action: from 5 to 14 April
a.    oktoSports Mon-Fri (5.00pm to 8.30pm); Sat-Sun (3.00pm to 8.30pm)
b.    Seven ‘live’ channels on Toggle; six of the channels will be live from 8.00am to 9.00pm, while the seventh channel will be the oktoSports simulcast on Toggle. *Timings might differ on certain days due to events. 

4.    Today At The Games
a.    oktoSports, 5 to 14 April (8.30pm to 9.00pm daily); 15 April (6.00pm to 6.30pm)
b.    Channel 5, 6 to 16 April (12.30am)
c.    Toggle simulcast and catch-up

Daily updates and the latest medal tally results will be carried on Mediacorp’s news bulletins across all language platforms.

Radio listeners will get the latest news updates on the Games including medal tallies on 938NOW, GOLD 905, CLASS 95, 987 and Symphony 924.

Mediacorp will provide coverage of Team Singapore athletes and highlights of the action across its digital platforms, including social media.
