MediaCorp appoints Managing Director of Interactive Media Division

Singapore, 23 February 2010 – MediaCorp is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Koh as Managing Director, Interactive Media Division with effect from 1 April 2010.

Philip is currently Managing Director, MediaCorp Press, which operates and owns the Today newspaper. Under his leadership, Today has launched numerous new media initiatives, including its popular website,, and its mobile applications.

For both portfolios, Philip will report to Shaun Seow, Deputy CEO (News, Radio, Print and Interactive).

Shaun Seow says, “Philip will bring to Interactive Media a perspective that’s both fresh and experienced. He’s known as the gadgets guy in the office, always pushing the envelope on technology applications. At the same time, he’s also been with MediaCorp for 13 years, covering a range of business lines from publishing to radio. This provides him with the insight into how a large media company like MediaCorp, with assets primarily in broadcasting and publishing, could develop a viable new media business. I look forward to his contributions.”
