Channel NewsAsia bags 4 World Medals at the 2010 New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards

Singapore, 5 May 2010 – Channel NewsAsia has won one Gold World Medal and 3 Bronze World Medals at the 2010 New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards.

The results, announced at the New York Festival’s 53rd gala event in Manhattan on 3 May 2010, are its best showing ever at the Festivals and cover both wins for programmes and promotions.

The wins are for:
Promotions:
• Life After People - a Gold World Medal in the Information/Magazine Program Promotion category
• All-Day Business News Promo - a Bronze World Medal in the News Promotion category.
And programmes:
• Scene City: Singapore - Living Spaces - a Bronze World Medal in the Educational/Instructional category
• It's Organic - a Bronze World Medal in the Environment & Ecology category
