ME@OUE: a star-studded restaurant that offers an unrivalled dining experience

Singapore, 23 January 2013 – OUE has teamed up with MediaCorp to launch ME@OUE: an epicentre of authentic Japanese, French and Chinese cuisines. Housing an array of unique and gastronomic delights from the three countries, the restaurant is helmed by Michelin star chefs Masayasu Yonemura and Laurent Peugeot as well as celebrity chef Justin Hor. Perched on the 19th floor of OUE Bayfront, the restaurant offers mesmerising views of the sea and picturesque skyline. 

This is the place to meet celebrities and head honchos. With this foray, MediaCorp has taken engagement between audiences and celebrities to another level. Brush shoulders with renowned artistes when you dine at the restaurant while enjoying music, live from a DJ console. Themed events from trade launches, stand-up comedies, fashion shows to New Year’s Eve countdown dinner parties have been lined up so that ME@OUE will be buzzing with excitement all year round.

Adapting an idea from poet Robert Herrick, I believe it’s the content as much as the food that makes the table’s merriment. In this new restaurant concept, diners tuck into cuisine from Michelin star chefs AND are able to feast their eyes on entertainment from MediaCorp. So the stars they see aren’t only those up in the night sky. Located in the heart of the business district, ME@OUE is the one place to be during the major events. Overlooking the Marina Bay, the restaurant gives patrons the best seats to enjoy the iridescent fireworks during the National Day Parade, New Year’s Eve and the enthralling action during Formula One Grand Prix. 

The interior design is the brainchild of award-winning architectural firm, Super Potato. An ideal address for tête-à-têtes, the restaurant captures a modern ambience with Zen overtones. ME@OUE is set to deliver a brand new and unique gourmet experience where patrons can look forward to an exquisite evening of dining under the stars.

ME@OUE will officially open on 16 February 2013.
