MEclub wins Social Media Excellence Award

MediaCorp’s Loyalty Programme wins at Loyalty World Asia Awards 2013

Singapore, 12 September 2013 – MediaCorp’s loyalty programme – MEclub is proud to have won the Social Media Excellence Award at Loyalty World Asia Awards 2013. The inaugural Loyalty World Asia Awards have been created to honor and generate public recognition of the accomplishments of organizations in Asia’s loyalty marketing industry. Winners were announced at the Awards Gala Dinner, held at The Marina Mandarin Hotel on Wednesday, 11 September 2013.

MEclub was nominated for two categories and beat five other strong contenders to emerge the winner for the Social Media category. Since its inception, MEclub has garnered over 50,000 mobile app downloads and also significantly tripled its member base.

MEclub has recently celebrated its first anniversary celebrations last month and had given away 500 tickets to Korean pop group - B.A.P Live on Earth concert via a Facebook bidding campaign, as well as limited edition autographed posters and albums. MEclub’s previous accolades include the Bronze Award for Best Loyalty Marketing for MOB-EX Awards 2013.
