MediaCorp appoints Charles Ormiston to its Board of Directors

Singapore, 6 October 2009 – MediaCorp Pte Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Marshall Ormiston to its Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Mr Ormiston, 47, is concurrently Chairman Southeast-Asia & Asia-Pacific Head of Strategy for Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm. Mr Ormiston specializes in leading major change programmes for multi-nationals and large Asian institutions, and is also the founder of Bain’s Singapore office.

MediaCorp bade farewell to 4 Directors - Mr Paul Beh, Ms Euleen Goh, Dr Aline Wong and Mr Wong Toon King - who stepped down in August 2009, each having served a full-term of 6 years with the Board.
