MediaCorp appoints Head for TV programming and production, Channel U

Singapore, September 22, 2008
- To better meet the growing business goals and objectives of Channel 8 and Channel U, as well as to expand our channel management and aggregation business overseas, MediaCorp announces organizational changes with effect from 1 September.

Ms Pang Siew Moi will be appointed as Executive Vice President, Network Programming and Promotions, Channel U. Siew Moi’s career can be traced back to the then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation as a Producer/Presenter before she made her mark as Group Editor of MPH Magazines and then as Managing Director of Blu Inc Media Pte Ltd. Siew Moi was previously Managing Director of MediaCorp's publishing business.

Khiew Voon Kwang, Senior Vice President, will continue to head Network Programming and Promotions, Channel 8. Concurrently, he will oversee the growing channel management business overseas as well as the new initiatives in channel aggregation.

Both Siew Moi and Voon Kwang will report to Chang Long Jong, Dy CEO (Television).
