MediaCorp appoints Head of Digital Enterprise

Singapore, 25 July 2013 – MediaCorp is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nick Fawbert as its Head of Digital Enterprise from 1 August 2013.
Nick brings with him some 20 years of experience in the media industry.  Based in Singapore since 2007, Nick was instrumental in the formation of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) in Singapore, getting key industry players onboard the IAB to develop the local digital ecosystem.  Prior to joining MediaCorp, he was CEO, Third Space Consulting, a boutique Southeast Asia interactive digital media consultancy firm.
Reporting to MediaCorp CEO, Mr. Shaun Seow, Nick will help create and grow digital revenue streams for the company’s entire range of platforms and products.  In addition, he will help build on digital initiatives started by MediaCorp this year which include investments in e-tailer, Reebonz and games publisher, Cubinet, and the launch of an incubator scheme where MediaCorp nurtures start-ups in technologies relevant to the company’s core businesses.
