MediaCorp Bags 13 medals at 2008 Promax & BDA World Gold Awards

Singapore, 24 June 2008 – MediaCorp garnered 13 awards at the 2008 Promax & BDA World Gold Awards held on 19 June 2008 in New York.

PROMAX and BDA are the world's foremost associations for those involved in promotion, marketing and design of electronic media, and represent more than 3,000 member companies and individuals in over 70 countries. Entries from all around the world are judged on their overall creativity, production quality and results in achieving marketing objectives.

MediaCorp’s haul of awards came from:
* Channel 8 - 2 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze
* Channel 5 – 2 silver
* Channel U – 1 silver, 1 bronze
* Radio – 1 bronze
* Airtime marketing – 1 bronze
