Mediacorp brings brand stories to life through its Brand Studio offerings
Singapore, 7 March 2016 – Brand Studio, a content marketing unit of Mediacorp, has teamed up with South Australia Tourism Commission in a three-month campaign to showcase the best that South Australia has to offer well-travelled singles and young couples.
South Australia Tourism Commission – The Singaporean’s Guide To South Australia
At the centre of the South Australia Tourism Commission campaign is a digital guide with rich multi-media content created exclusively by Brand Studio, featuring in a range of Mediacorp platforms – todayonline.com, Class95 Facebook, radio station Lush 99.5 and Singapore’s number one entertainment and lifestyle magazine, 8DAYS. Soon after its launch, this series of original travel-related content became some of the most-read lifestyle stories on todayonline.
Prior to this, Brand Studio’s digital solutions delivered positive results for major brands including Uniqlo and MasterPass by MasterCard.
MasterPass by MasterCard – “Riding In Taxis With Singaporean Santarinas”
Last Christmas, Brand Studio created an original series of vignettes with local humour to promote MasterCard’s cashless payment service MasterPass and its collaboration with ComfortDelGro. The videos starring Irene Ang, Judee Tan and Chua Enlai racked up over half a million views on Toggle and YouTube in just two weeks.
UNIQLO – “A Winter’s Tale”
In September 2015, Brand Studio created a holistic campaign for UNIQLO’s Fall/Winter2015 collection starring Mediacorp artistes Desmond Tan and Rebecca Lim in a stop-motion animated short film.
“A Winter’s Tale” racked up over 234,000 views on the brand’s Facebook and YouTube pages within four weeks. Fashion spreads were created for both Style: Singapore and Style: MEN magazines. Desmond Tan and Rebecca Lim made an appearance on Channel 5’s The 5 Show and spoke about stop motion animation and their fondness for winter getaways.
"The campaign helped generate interest and increase awareness of UNIQLO's Ultra Light Down products. We received feedback that the campaign was cool and innovative," said Weiling Cheok, Assistant Marketing Manager, UNIQLO.
