MediaCorp brings Singaporeans the most extensive coverage of the 25th SEA Games

Singapore, 7 December 2009 - MediaCorp's network of television, radio, newspaper, online and outdoor platforms will bring the magic of the Southeast Asian Games into the homes of Singapore viewers, listeners and readers from 9 to 18 December 2009.

Singaporeans will be treated to daily coverage on MediaCorp Channel 5, put together by a team of 20 producers, presenters and technical crew in Vientiane who will be working round-the-clock to bring Singaporeans up to date with the latest results and happenings. Viewers can also get their SEA Games' fix through news bulletins on Channel NewsAsia. The TODAY team in Vientaine will provide readers with daily reports on how Team Singapore is faring, feature stories and interviews with our local heroes and newsmakers.

For radio listeners, the SEA Games updates will be a part of the regular hourly sports updates. SportsZone on 938LIVE will turn their focus on the Games on 5 and 12 December between 11am to 12pm. 938LIVE will also run call-in reports for the entirety of the Games. Fans of Team Singapore can also keep their pulse on the Games with a free SMS alert service which will provide news on Team Singapore as well as telecast updates.
