MediaCorp broadcasts Prime Minister's 2013 National Day Message
Singapore, 6 August 2013 – Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s National Day Message will be broadcast on Thursday, 8 August 2013, the eve of National Day, across MediaCorp television and radio stations. The Prime Minister’s message in English will be televised on Channel NewsAsia at 6.45pm, okto at 8.45pm, Channel 5 and HD5 at 10.00pm. The message will be subtitled for the deaf. The Prime Minister’s message in English can also be heard on MediaCorp radio station 938LIVE at 7.35pm.
The Prime Minister’s National Day Message will also be broadcast in Mandarin, Malay and Tamil on TV and radio:
Mr Lim Swee Say, Minister, Prime Minister's Office will deliver the message in Mandarin; Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for Communications and Information & Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, will deliver the message in Malay; and the message in Tamil will be delivered by Mr K Shanmugam, Minister for Foreign Affairs & Minister for Law.
For the first time this year, the Prime Minister’s National Day Message will be simulcast on Toggle (available on available on multiple devices including smartphones, tablets and connect TVs) across the four language platforms, namely Channel 5, Channel 8, Suria and Vasantham.
