MediaCorp the official free-to-air broadcaster of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games
- Singapore’s most comprehensive coverage of the Youth Olympics Games 2010

Singapore, 7 May 2010 - MediaCorp's network of television, radio, newspaper, and online platforms will deliver the excitement and buzz of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) to the homes of Singapore viewers, listeners and readers from 14 to 26 August 2010. 

Starting 31 May, online portal goes 'live' chockablock with news, blogs, telecast schedules, medal tallies, trivia, Team Singapore athlete profiles, photos and videos, providing fans and friends round-the-clock information and updates. 

The Opening Ceremony of the Games will be telecast 'live' on Channel 5 on 14 August, 8:00pm-10:00pm. Following that, the drama of the Games will unfold 'live' daily on television screens across Channel 5, okto and Channel U (please refer to the Annex for telecast dates and times). The Closing Ceremony, similarly, will be telecast 'live' on 26 August 8:00pm-9:30pm on Channel 5. Viewers with HD television sets can catch the True HD 'live' telecasts on HD5. For those who can’t catch the 'live' action, Today At The Games on Channel 5 will round-up the day's action, and every news bulletin on Channel NewsAsia (CNA) will carry a YOG segment with reports, features and interviews of local and foreign athletes and personalities. Singaporeans will also wake up to a dose of the YOG every morning on Primetime Morning, with interviews and live crosses to YOG competition sites. Not to be missed is CNA's Insight Special: Blazing the Trail, which will look at Singapore's journey towards becoming the host city of the 2010 Youth Olympic Games.

People on the move can tune in to radio stations 938LIVE, Class 95FM, 987FM, Gold 90.5FM, Capital 958, Oli 96.8FM and Warna 94.2FM for regular results updates. 938LIVE will have daily coverage of the Games with morning (6:35am-12:35pm) reviews and interviews from the previous day's action as well as previews of upcoming events. The action continues with 'live' updates from Games' venues at 1:35pm, 5:35pm, 6:35pm, 7:35pm and 9:35pm. Listeners will also get 'live' updates from 7:00pm to 10:00pm during the opening and closing ceremonies. In addition, Singapore's only sports talkshow on radio SportsZone, will also turn its focus on the YOG on 7, 14 and 21 August. Over the 60-minute talkshows, listeners will be able to call in with their heartfelt messages, opinions and speak to guests 'live' ranging from local sports officials, coaches and YOG athletes

Singapore's second most read newspaper, TODAY will lead up to the YOG with in-depth stories, and full daily coverage and analysis of the results. Look out for interesting features as well as magic moments of the Games captured in pictures. 

Singaporeans will be the first in the world to catch the world premiere of the YOG theme song Everyone, written by Singapore Idol judge Ken Lim and performed by Sean Kingston (USA), Tabitha Nauser (Asia), Steve Appleton (Europe), Jody Williams (Africa) and Jessica Mauboy (Oceania) on Channel 5 from 30 May onwards.
