New prizes up the ante for Last Palm Standing – Mediacorp Subaru Car Challenge

Singapore, 16 September 2019 – The 18th edition of Last Palm Standing – Mediacorp Subaru Car Challenge, one of Asia’s largest and toughest endurance competitions, just got bigger! In addition to the grand prize of a brand-new Subaru car XV 2.0i-S EyeSight1 worth S$76,800, additional prizes valued at S$10,000, including a trip for two to catch Blackpink’s concert in Osaka, are now up for grabs!

Come 2 November 2019 at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, participants from Singapore, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam will battle fatigue, weather conditions and outlast each other to be the last person remaining with his or her palm on a Subaru car. The winner will walk away with the grand prize. The winner, if Singaporean and able to beat the current record time of 82 hours and 16 minutes, will also receive a Certificate of Entitlement for the car.

Prizes galore for contestants

For the first time in 18 years, contestants who clock at least 180 minutes will automatically qualify for a lucky draw to win a range of prizes:

  • A pair of tickets to the Blackpink concert in Osaka, including air tickets and accommodation worth S$6,000 (one prize)
  • Limited edition G-Shock watch worth S$1,299 (two prizes)
  • Limited edition 30th anniversary STI watch worth S$700 (one prize)
  • Limited Supreme t-shirt worth S$350 (two prizes)

Contestants who clock 48 hours will also receive S$50 cash, with an additional S$50 added for every five hours thereafter.
