New social hub for MediaCorp celebrities gives an insight to their lesser known lives
Singapore, 25 February 2013 – MediaCorp Artiste Management unveils its proprietary social hub, TAP with a quirky TV commercial today, peeking behind the lesser known lives of MediaCorp celebrities.
TAP is MediaCorp’s answer to promote its own celebrity social media platforms by streaming collective feeds on a single site. Fans can discover and help themselves to exclusive bite size news while surfing through stars galore as artistes share their daily lives on social media.
Social media is becoming an indispensible part of our lives. Celebrities and fans use it as a means to interact amongst themselves. However, there was no one site where you could find all the collective social platforms of our homegrown celebrities. Now, fans only need to access TAP to find the updates and talk to all their favourite stars, saving the need to locate the stars’ separate profiles.
Fans can reply and interact with the celebrities directly on TAP by connecting to the site with their social profiles. Increased interaction and visibility between celebrity and fans are listed by popularity under Hot Picks. The cumulative number of interactions will also be visible under a hall of fame called Fans Favourite. The Talk Meter showcases the feed of the trending MediaCorp topic on Twitter now, encouraging the celebrity-fans interaction on specific topics.
Another key feature to look out for is Star Scoops. Star Scoops offers exclusive celeb footages that allow you to take a peek into the unreported and unseen aspect of MediaCorp celebrities. This feature is contributed by the artistes’ closest sources – the managers themselves. We hope to provide fans with quickie bite size fix of celeb buzz that's fast and fun.
Today, all eyes will be on TAP at http://www.toggle.sg/tap.
