Singapore, 10 November 2010 – TODAY has become the first Singapore newspaper to launch an iPad version, and the good news for readers is that the application is free.  The TODAY iPad version provides not only the latest news reports, photos, blog posts, TV and movie listings from Singapore’s second most-read newspaper but also leverages on MediaCorp’s rich multi-media content, offering readers access to videos from Channel NewsAsia and live radio from 938Live.

Said Mr Patrick Yong, Managing Director, MediaCorp Press: “TODAY prides itself as the paper for people on the go, and our extension to mobile devices such as the iPad is our way of engaging readers with changing lifestyles. Having been the first to launch an application for the iPhone, it was only natural to invest in an iPad version of the paper.”
