February 2024 – Mediacorp hosted a celebration to welcome the year of the Wood Dragon, with over 160 business partners in attendance. Hosted by Tham Loke Kheng, Chief Executive Officer, the event kicked off with a rousing toast followed by a mesmerising musical opening performance that featured Mediacorp’s talented artistes – Ayden on the Erhu, Bryan Wong on the Piano, Chantalle Ng on the GuZheng. Dynamic duo Mei Gui & Desmond Ng enchanted the audience with their harmonious blend of singing and rapping followed by a captivating LED drum performance by Zhang Zetong. The opening performance ended on a high note with the auspicious dragon dance, symbolising prosperity and blessings for the new year.
The entertainment continued throughout the lunch with lively stage games and prize giving. Ke Le and Zhu Zeliang's spirited song and dance performance from Mediacorp's LNY 2024 music video delighted the audience. The event closed with a performance from Hazelle Teo who sang a Lunar New Year song that she produced on her own.
