WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for compelling short-form stories that resonate with Singaporeans.

Each story should be in the range of 60 to 80 episodes, with duration of each episode between 1 to 3 minutes.

Key requirements in the stories as follow:

  1. Engaging and Relatable
    Stories should captivate and connect with local audiences, reflecting elements of Singaporean life and culture.
  2. Innovative and Unconventional
    Storytelling of Singapore’s Journey (our achievements, vision, or heritage) in fresh and meaningful ways.
  3. Relevant Themes
    Celebrate (at least one) of these themes: SG identity, harmonious social fabric, cultural heritage, social values.
  4. Singaporean Elements
    The stories must highlight aspects of Singapore’s identity that are relevant and relatable to Singaporeans.

  7. Budget : up to SGD180,000 for each project

ELIGIBILITY & KEY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Only new ideas/concepts for scripted formats are eligible. Submissions must not have been used for any past production(s) in any manner (whether publicly released or not), and must be free from any encumbrances.
  2. All submissions need to be accompanied by a Submission Form and proof of adoption of TAFEP-MFL. Submissions without forms and proof of adoption will not be accepted.
  3. At least 50% of credited talent and production crew must be Singapore Citizens or PR.

GENERAL SUBMISSION PROCESS

  1. Only electronic submissions are required and accepted.
  2. Submissions can be made here.
  3. Prepare your submission materials for each concept in ONE combined document or visual deck.
  4. There is no fee to enter. Each applicant may submit only up to 3 IPs/concepts.
  5. Each application is for ONE IP/concept only. If you’re submitting more than one proposal, please submit as separate applications.
  6. All applications need to be accompanied by a Submission Form and proof of adoption of TAFEP-MFL. Submissions without forms and proof of adoption will not be accepted.
  7. Only completed applications will be assessed.
  8. Please ensure completeness and accuracy of information and contact details.
  9. There is no limit to the number of pages to the submission, but brevity will be appreciated.
  10. Please submit your entries in English. You may also include additional information in your own native language.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Each proposal to be submitted in ONE combined document or visual deck. Submitted proposal(s) must address (but is not limited to) the following:

  1. Title of Concept
  2. Logline
  3. Synopsis
  4. Concept’s Appeal to Target Audience
  5. Main characters’ description
  6. Proposed cast
  7. Key Creatives
  8. Number of episodes, duration
  9. Budget (breakdown of budget required)
