This Ramadan, Mediacorp’s Malay Community Engagement division is delighted to have the return of Tandang Sahur once more. Tandang Sahur is a charity initiative where we gather fellow Muslim counterparts from Mediacorp alongside with the voluntarily support of our local personalities to have a pre-dawn meal get together with the residents of PERTAPIS Children’s Home.

PERTAPIS Children’s Home houses about the home houses about 35 residents, young boys and girls below 18 years old who are victims of abuse to re-integrate in society through positive learning. They are referred by the MSF and Youth Court for alternative care arrangement.

Through this initiative, we aim to make a positive impact within our community and put a smile on the residents of PERTAPIS Children’s Home, making this Ramadan and Hari Raya a memorable one for them.
