  • Zhin Sadali

    Fresh face, Zhin Sadali is a versatile host and personality with TheSmartLocal. Upon winning the very first TheSmartLocal Talent Search in 2017, he embarked on a journey with Mediacorp as an actor. Zhin’s appearances as a lead host/actor include programmes such as Hilang The Series Seasons 1 and 2, Projek L.I.T Seasons 1 and 2, Kecoh Kahwin, Third Rail, Let’s Celebrate 2023 and Mediacorp’s Hari Raya 2022 and National Day 2022 campaign. His role as a supporting actor include programmes such as Intercept, We the Citizens, The Algorithm, Future Proof, S.P.Y, 7 Penjuru and Hingga Ke Syurga (telemovie).

    He is also an advocate for Mental Health Awareness and has embarked on numerous projects to help shed light on this matter amongst the youth.

  • Farah Farook

    Farah Farook is an actress and TV host. Her journey in the industry began in 2018 after she won second runner-up in ELIT Suria, a Mediacorp’s Malay talent search for new faces. She made her acting debut on Rapuh where she played the main supporting role. Since then, she has acted in several shows on Mediacorp Suria including Kafe, Siapa Jaga Mak? and Jerat. Her hosting stint for Mediacorp Suria includes Singapura Live 3.0 alongside established hosts Fauzie Laily and Shenty Feliziana, Projek L.I.T Seasons 1 and 2, and currently, Juara Mic Junior 2.

    Apart from her contributions to the Malay entertainment industry, Farah has also acted in the English series Tribes, a Lion Mums spin-off made for Mediacorp meWATCH. She is also known for her role of Recruit Fatimah in Jack Neo’s blockbuster film, Ah Girls Go Army and Ah Girls Go Army Again. Farah’s role as a supporting actor includes dramas such as Identiti, Pesan Izan, Hasrat Tersirat, 7 Penjuru, SAGA, Retak and Kelab JMJ.

    Recently, she has also been featured in the latest Netflix Singapore series, Mr Midnight. Showing her versatility, Farah has also been in multiple commercials including a voiceover talent for Jejak Jenayah (Crimewatch) and several Channel NewsAsia documentary adaptations.

  • Nik Aqimi

    Nik Aqimi started his acting career at the tender age of 8 years old. He starred in several drama series and children’s programmes on Mediacorp Suria. His first Malay drama was Couple Cosmo which he won an award for Best Young Star in Pesta Perdana 2021, Mediacorp’s biennale awards show honouring the best individuals in the local Malay entertainment industry.

    He is also the face of several commercials and videos such as Satay Samad, The International Built Environment Week (IBEW) and Making Slime, and hosted for the Army Open House 2022.

    His appearances in Mediacorp Suria programmes include Refleksi, Siapa Jaga Mak?, Hasrat Tersirat, L.N.S Cafe, Identiti, Misteri Jam 12, Skuad Cilik S4, Stor Atuk Season 1, X, Y dan Zain, Sampul Ketupat Rendang, Ra Ra Raya!, and will star in Stor Atuk for its second season.

  • Asnida Daud

    Asnida Daud started out as young talent that graced the television screens in the 90’s with her exuberant talent of singing and acting. Asnida now conceptualises, produces, directs, writes, acts, and sings in audio and video resources for national schools, a role that requires a high level of proficiency in the Malay language.

    Asnida is an ambassador of the Bahasa Budaya aspect of the Malay language as her involvement in the Malay arts and culture shows the language’s pivotal role in understanding and preserving Singapore's national language heritage and culture.

    Asnida received The Commendation Medal by the Prime Minister’s Office in 2020 for her commendable performance and conduct, significant efficiency, competence and devotion to her duties as a senior specialist for Media Design for Language under Ministry of Education.

  • Hyrul Anuar

    Hyrul Anuar is a singer, songwriter, scriptwriter and educator. Since winning Mediacorp’s Malay singing reality competition - Anugerah 2005 and clinching the award for Mediacorp Suria's Upcoming Icon in Pesta Pesta Pesta 2006, Hyrul Anuar has consistently represented Mediacorp in various local and regional TV programmes while creating milestones in the local music scene with chart topping singles under his belt. He received numerous nominations in Mediacorp’s local Malay music awards show, AnugeraHitz.SG and Mediacorp’s regional Malay music awards show, Anugerah Planet Muzik (APM).

    Marking other milestones in his career, this amiable entertainer mentored the contestants of Anugerah 2017 and Juara Mic Junior 2018 in Mediacorp. In 2022, Hyrul became one of the judges for Berani Nyanyi?, a highly rated reality programme on Mediacorp alongside Aisyah Aziz, Sheikh Haikel, Rosalina Musa and Taufik Batisah.

    While actively conceptualising language-based enrichment programmes with his own company HYR Ground, Hyrul is also actively writing scripts for local Malay programmes on Mediacorp. As an appointed Duta Bahasa in 2021, Hyrul aspires to instil the appreciation of Malay language through the amalgamation of entertainment and education.

  • Hady Mirza

    Hady Mirza is most known for his smooth R&B voice and charming personality. He was the winner of the second season of the Mediacorp’s reality singing competition, Singapore Idol. He was also the winner of the world's first Asian Idol in 2007. After years of not appearing in the limelight, Hady made his comeback by joining Astro’s Gegar Vaganza 6 in 2019. Hady was named co-winner of the sixth season of the Malaysian television singing show, sharing the title with Naqiu Boboy.

    Hady was awarded two major awards in Mediacorp’s regional Malay music awards show, Anugerah Planet Muzik (APM) 2007 for Most Popular Artiste (Singapore) and his self-penned Malay single Merpati was voted Most Popular Song (Singapore). Hady was also voted Most Popular Artiste (Singapore) in APM 2008. Hady won awards in three voting-based categories; Most Popular Artiste (Singapore), Most Popular Song (Singapore), and Most Popular Regional Song, for his hit Angkasa at APM 2011. Hady also won awards in two voting-based categories; Most Popular Song (Singapore) and Most Popular Regional Song, for his hit Ku Tetap Kan Menunggu at APM 2012.

  • Izzat Yusoff

    Izzat Yusoff is an award-winning actor, producer, and director. He is also a production designer, theatre educator, singer and musician. Passionate about his craft, Izzat is acclaimed both on television and stage. His debut on television was 15 years ago in Bisikan Bayangan. Shortly after, he landed a role in Soldadu, which he is synonymous for. He also sharpened his acting skills through theatre, acting in various Malay and English stage plays including Anak Bumi, Balada Tun Fatimah, Lord of The Flies and many more.

    Many more TV appearances made him a sought-after actor in productions such as Karipap Haiz, Bantal Buruk Saloma, Dilema Dania and Hasrat Tersirat. Izzat has been nominated for Best New Actor in Pesta Perdana 1999, Mediacorp’s biennale awards show honoring the best individuals in the local Malay entertainment industry. He also won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role in Pesta Perdana 2012, Best Actor in a Leading Role and Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 2017, Best Actor in a Leading Role - Drama Series in 2019 and Best-Info-ed Programme in 2021.

  • Alif Aircho

    Alif Aircho has been in the Singapore’s dance scene for 18 years. He spent his first 10 years competing and upgrading himself as a dancer. He also represented Singapore in numerous international street dance competitions from 2005 till today. He became a choreographer/director in the recent years choreographing big projects for Fariz Jabba & Yung Raja of Def Jam SEA, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) and ENHYPEN, K-pop groups under HYBE Labels Korea. In the local scene, Alif appeared as one of the judges for Mediacorp Suria’s first reality dance competition, Dansa Mania. Alif hopes to continue inspiring his audience through his artistic craft in the years to come.
