Meet your winners of Raja Kaiya Vecha, Raja Kulinari and 三把刀!

Rasathi, Winner – Raja Kaiya Vecha
Known as: “The Global Gastronome”
Occupation: Counsellor
Born in Singapore, Rasathi is indeed a global gastronome, having lived overseas since the age of 5, in countries like England, Australia, Indonesia and the US. She picked up the love for cooking and various cooking styles when she lived and experienced these different locations around the world.
Being a single mother as well, she also does get creative with how she uses spices to bring out flavours in her food, without allowing them to overwhelm the dish, and also constantly thinks of how to make food interesting for her daughter.
Being a counsellor by profession and a part-time actor, she feels that King of Culinary will allow her to cook for a different group of audience and allow her to explore and test different taste pallets.

Zakiyah, Winner – Raja Kulinari
Known as: “The Spice Whisperer”
Occupation: Tour Consultant
Zakiyah is a warrior inside and outside the kitchen. Having survived pancreatic cancer earlier in 2021, she has since bounced back to regain her confidence and love for cooking, by deciding to, in her words “get out of her comfort zone” and participate in Raja Kulinari.
Her love for cooking stemmed from the time when she was 10, having cooked her first dish, and has since rediscovered her love of making food, as a means of therapy from her bout with cancer.
Zakiyah also believes in sustainable cooking and is known for not wasting any of her ingredients usually, on the series.
Though unassuming and humble, Zakiyah holds the record of being the only homecook contestant to have beaten three chefs with her dishes on Raja Kulinari!

Hue, Winner – 三把刀 (San Ba Dao)
Known as: “The Neighbourhood Gourmet Cook”
Occupation: Homemaker
This stoic homecook of few words might come across as aloof, but Hue has proven to be a silent power all on her own. This quiet but warm, loving mother of 2 hails originally from Vietnam – she moved to Singapore to study hairdressing where she subsequently met her husband.
They currently live in Yishun, where she’s known to evoke a kampung spirit amongst all her neighbours – her home is like an open house, where she welcomes her neighbours and their kids for chats and hangouts, and also feeds them with her delicious cooking.
Known for her strategic and ambitious methods of cooking, her love and joy of cooking has obviously struck a chord with everyone around her, as it was her helper who encouraged her to participate in 三把刀 (San Ba Dao).
Hue’s main drive is share the “old people’s tastes” from her hometown, along the lines of “comfort” or “soul” food.
