Get ready to kick off the new year in grand style at countdown party Let’s Celebrate 2025, the countdown party organised by Mediacorp, in partnership with Singapore Sports Hub, managed by Kallang Alive Sport Management (KASM).

To be held on Tuesday 31 December, the celebration will feature a dynamic mix of live music performed by homegrown talents and fun-filled activities for all ages. As the night reaches its thrilling climax, partygoers can also look forward to a spectacular 15-minute fireworks display at midnight - the single longest among all fireworks displays across this year’s countdown celebrations!

Hosted by Mediacorp 987 DJ Joakim Gomez and multi-hyphenated artiste Munah Bagharib, Let’s Celebrate 2025 will unfold in two segments under the theme “Let The Music Play”. True to its name, the event will highlight the best of Singapore’s homegrown artistes, reflecting Mediacorp’s dedication to celebrating the diversity and creativity of local talents.

Catch live performances by the best of Singapore talents like Tik Tok sensation Regina Song, Taufik Batisah, Tasha Low, Shigga Shay, Iman Fandi and many more! And joining the stellar lineup of homegrown artistes will be Cosentino, Australia’s illustrious magician, illusionist, and escape artist!

Get ready for an unforgettable evening as Cosentino brings his world-class magic to the stage with his mind-blowing illusions and jaw-dropping performances, adding a magical twist to an already star-studded night. Get ready to be mesmerised as Cosentino’s spellbinding skills captivate the audience at the OCBC Square at Singapore Sports Hub.

Fret not if you are not able get a spot near the concert grounds as there will also be live screening of the concert at the Stadium Roar and the Water Sports Centre. So book your spot early and get up close for the best shot of the fireworks to mark your countdown experience!

Partygoers can jump into the celebrations early with fun, family-friendly activities from 5.00pm. These include UV face painting, glitter tattoos, gem embellishments, and balloon giveaways by sculpture artistes. The Neon Playground is also not to be missed as LED-lit swings and seesaws transform playtime into a glow-in-the-dark experience as night falls.

Pushing the celebrations a notch up are the colourful street performances and roving entertainment acts by the likes of versatile juggling comedian Mr Bee, local percussion group Bloco Singapura, bubble artist CJ Bubble Girl, fire twirlers and a street magician.

Stage programming will commence from 7.30pm, with a lineup of fun and exciting activities, including live DJ sets and other fun-filled activities!

  • Cosentino

    A true trailblazer in the entertainment world, Cosentino has captivated millions across the globe with his incredible feats of magic and mind-bending illusions. Recognised as “the most dominant figure currently in Australian entertainment,” Cosentino is now rapidly becoming a global sensation.

    He made history as the first Australian magician to have his own TV shows, producing and starring in ten prime-time specials broadcast in over 40 countries, reaching an audience of over 750 million people. The Today Show praised him for revolutionising magic in Australia, and Cosentino’s appearances on major television shows and media outlets across Australia have made him a household name.

  • Taufik Batisah

    Taufik Batisah is a renowned singer, composer, producer, and actor, best known for winning Singapore Idol in 2004. His debut album “Blessings” (2005) became the best-selling local English album of the decade.

    Taufik has performed at major events like the Live and Loud Music Festival in Kuala Lumpur and the ABU TV Song Festival in Seoul and represented Singapore at Singapore Day and the ASEAN-Japan Music Festival.

    With over 30 awards, Taufik has earned recognition in both music and acting, including the “Best Asian Artist (Singapore Award)” award at the Mnet Asia Music Awards and “Best Actor” at Malay entertainment awards ceremony Pesta Perdana in 2019. He is also involved in national initiatives and National Day songs.

  • Tasha Low

    Tasha Low is a singer and actress who debuted in the K-pop group SKarf in 2012 before returning to Singapore to pursue acting in 2018.

    She was named “Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes” at the Star Awards in 2023 and 2024. Tasha will star as the lead in the upcoming Chinese drama Emerald Hill.

    She continues to shape her artistic identity, growing her fan base both in Singapore and internationally.

  • Iman Fandi

    Iman Fandi is a multi-hyphenated artiste, forging her own path towards success by making her musical debut in 2021, on top of her career as a model, actress and athlete.

    Most recently, she was featured on the Times Square billboard in New York City as a Spotify EQUAL 2024 ambassador for Singapore and Malaysia.

    Iman continues to establish herself as a powerful voice for young women in music.

  • ALYPH

    ALYPH is a singer, performer, songwriter, composer, and producer renowned in Southeast Asia’s hip-hop scene.

    Known for regional chart-topping hits like “SWIPE”, he has consistently delivered successful music throughout his career.

    From his time with the chart-dominating duo SleeQ to his extensive production work under the name Magic Potions, ALYPH has built a legacy with standout collaborations alongside top Malaysian rap powerhouses.

  • Regina Song

    Regina Song is a rising pop artiste known for her catchy anthems and heartfelt love songs. Her debut album “fangirl” quickly gained popularity, with her single “the cutest pair" amassing over 16 million streams on Spotify and 55,000 TikTok videos.

    Regina has performed at events like Singapore Night Fest and Esplanade Red Dot, and has opened for artists such as Filipino-Australian singer grentperez and British-Canadian singer Matt Maltese.

  • Baha Mista B

    Baha Mista B, also known as Baha, is a versatile entertainer—actor, singer, songwriter, composer, host, dancer, and choreographer.

    Initially known for his dynamic dance covers, he has evolved into a well-rounded artiste, blending English and Tamil in his hyped, catchy songs.

    Baha Mista B has inspired many young talents and has performed as an opening act at major concerts, proudly representing his nation on the global stage.

  • SHIGGA SHAY

    SHIGGA SHAY is a prominent figure in Singapore’s Hip-Hop scene, recognised early as the “Unsigned Talent of the Week” by WorldStarHipHop at 17 years old.

    He has also collaborated with notable names, such as Jay Park, Wu Tang Clan and Jaden Smith, and performed at major events like National Day Parade and Ultra Singapore.

    He made history as the first Singaporean and Chinese artiste featured on COLORSxSTUDIOS YouTube channel and the first Southeast Asian rapper on Chinese rap competition show Rap of China.

    He also became the first Southeast Asian artiste to host a live-streamed Mixed Reality concert in 2020 and performed as an avatar at the 2021 Global E-sports Games. In 2023, he performed at the opening of the first Olympic Esports Week in Singapore.

  • Tosh Rock

    Tosh Rock is a versatile musician and actor who gained prominence as a YouTuber in 2011. He starred in the films Ah Boys To Men and The Lion Men, for which he also wrote and performed hit soundtracks.

    In 2016, Tosh earned a “Best Actor” nomination at the Vancouver Golden Panda International Film Festival for Singaporean drama film My Love Sinema and appeared in Netflix drama series Marco Polo alongside Michelle Yeoh. More recently, he starred in Singaporean film Good Goodbye (2024) and is set to feature in upcoming film I Am Kelefe (2025).

    As a musician, Tosh has released singles, performed internationally, and created music for major brands.

  • Desmond Ng

    Desmond Ng is a singer, actor, and host. He made his acting debut in Ah Boys to Men 1 in 2012 and has since starred in Chinese dramas like Your World In Mine and Hope A Float.

    Desmond ventured into hosting in 2016, earning a nomination for “Best Host” and winning the “Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste” award at the Star Awards in both 2017 and 2023.

  • Estelle Fly

    Estelle Fly is a singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress with a strong online presence on TikTok and Instagram.

    In 2021, she collaborated with Republic of Gamers on the single RISE, which was featured in the video game The Sims 4, and starred in the thriller Alienated in 2023.

    Since her debut in July 2019 with Love Like This, Estelle has performed at major events such as Music Matters and the World Table Tennis Final in 2021.

  • Gao Mei Gui

    Gao Mei Gui is a Mediacorp YES 933 personality. She currently helms the weekday morning programme The DAKA Show《大咖一起来》.

    She entered the entertainment scene in 2006 as a Top 10 female finalist reality singing competition Campus Superstar Season 1.

    Over the years, Mei Gui has had the opportunity to host and sing for various events, from Chinese Orchestra concerts to live singing performances.

  • Hyrul Anuar

    Hyrul Anuar is a multi-talented artiste with two decades of experience in Singapore’s Malay entertainment industry. He won Malay talent discovery competition Anugerah in 2005 and “Suria’s Upcoming Icon Award” in Pesta Pesta Pesta 2006.

    Hyrul has collaborated with Muezza Productions on hit singles like Gadis Tumit Tinggi and Bulan Sabit Di Bibir. Beyond music, he serves as a mentor, scriptwriter, and judge on shows such as the Malay singing competition Berani Nyanyi?.

    Izzathy Halil is a member of the a cappella group The Island Voices, known for her artistic versatility in singing, acting, and dancing.

  • JJ Neo

    JJ Neo is a singer, host, and actress. Since 2015, she has collaborated with global indie electronica producers, releasing music on various streaming platforms.

    In 2018, she won the “Acting Category” at the Huayi Brothers Icon Search in Singapore and advanced to the grand finals in China, earning an invitation to the Shanghai International Film Festival.

    In 2020, JJ collaborated with Jarrell on "The Light," a song about overcoming adversity during the COVID-19 pandemic. The track gained widespread recognition, including being shared by former Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on social media.

  • Kaushik Iyer

    Kaushik is a seasoned artiste with over 15 years of experience in Indian classical and contemporary music.

  • Pavithra Nair

HOW TO GET THERE

If you are visiting the Singapore Sports Hub on 31 December, we strongly recommend using public transport as road congestion will be expected, and with limited parking options available due to the temporary closure of Car Park 4.

To avoid potential delays, please travel by public bus or MRT and aim to arrive early. Train services will be extended on 31 December.

The Stadium MRT Station is located along the Circle Line.

You can also reach the venue via buses 11, 14, 31, 155 and 196.

  1. Where will Let’s Celebrate 2025 be held?

    Mediacorp Let’s Celebrate 2025, the countdown show will be held at a brand-new location at OCBC Square, Singapore Sports Hub.

  2. What time do gates open?

    Fringe activities will start from 5pm. It’s a non-stop celebration from 7.30pm to 12.15am so come early to book the best spot!

  3. Will there be bag checks for the event?

    Yes, there will be security bag checks prior to entry into the countdown show area, in accordance with regulations by the Singapore Police Force. Please note that you will NOT be allowed to bring in:

    • weapons, or resemblance of weapons, including but not limited to knives, firearms, blunt offensive objects/batons and those with sharp ends;
    • fireworks/flares;
    • laser pointers;
    • illegal substances including controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs;
    • glassware or glass bottles;
    • cans or spray cans;
    • outside food and beverage including alcohol and bottled water (empty plastic bottles are allowed);
    • bags or luggage of dimensions larger than 35cm x 20cm x 30cm (ie. too large to be stored under a seat);
    • items too large to be electronically screened;
    • bicycles, skateboards, skates and scooters;
    • helmets of any types;
    • chairs/stools;
    • animals (other than trained assistance dogs);
    • musical instruments and noise makers including but not limited to drums, whistles, vuvuzelas, air horns and loud hailers;
    • projectile items which are reasonably considered as being able to cause injury, nuisance or offence to another person including balls, frisbees, rackets or similar objects;
    • LED and fan boards larger than 42cm x 29.7cm (ie. A3 sized);
    • flag poles;
    • helium balloons or other inflatables;
    • glow/light sticks;
    • tripods, monopods and selfie sticks;
    • remote control cars, drones or unmanned aerial vehicles;
    • any form of poster, placard and banner with content that may compromise with the security of the event;
    • camera and any form of recording devices; and
    • other items that may cause injury or public nuisance.
  4. Do I need to wear a mask to the event?

    Masks are not compulsory but encouraged.

  5. Do I need to register or get tickets to the event?

    No registration is required. Admission to the event is FREE!

  6. Where are the entrances to the event grounds?

    General public can enter the countdown show area via the entrance facing the Stadium MRT entrance at OCBC Square.

  7. Are there seats at the event?

    This is a standing event.

  8. Is this an all-ages event? Is it accessible for the elderly, families with strollers, or people in wheelchairs?

    The Mediacorp Let's Celebrate 2025 event is open to all. However, children below 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that there is limited capacity in the countdown show area. If you are unable to get into the countdown show area, you can also catch the countdown show via LIVE screening on giant screens located at the Stadium Roar at Kallang Wave Mall and the Sports Hub Water Sports Centre located near the OCBC Square. The Mediacorp Let’s Celebrate 2025 countdown show is also available LIVE on mewatch, Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube and Mediacorp TikTok from 10.00pm and on Channel 5 from 11.00pm.

  9. Will re-entry be allowed?

    Members of the public who indicate they will be re-entering the countdown show area will receive a hand stamp upon exit. This stamp must be shown to re-enter. However, please note that re-entry is not guaranteed if the area reaches maximum capacity.

  10. Is there any maximum capacity for safety?

    Yes, there is. Hence, entry may be denied if the maximum capacity has been reached. We advise you to come early to secure your spots!

  2. What can I expect in terms of programming for the Mediacorp Let's Celebrate countdown show? What time does the programming starts?

    From 7.30pm, you can get your celebrations going with party songs and dance hits spun by a live DJ. There will be opportunities to participate in games and win prizes. Indulge in delicious light bites and refreshments. A stunning 15-minute display of fireworks will light up the night sky at the stroke of midnight! It’s a party you don’t want to miss!

  3. Can I buy food & drinks inside the event?

    Absolutely! You can purchase food and drinks from the food & beverage vendors at the venue. There will be food trucks selling food and drinks located along the Kallang River front. There are also plenty of F&B options within the Kallang Wave Mall.

  1. Are there ATMs on-site? What are the payment modes available?

    There are ATMs located within the Kallang Wave Mall as well as nearby Kallang Leisure Park and the Stadium MRT Station. Payment modes accepted for purchases at the food and drinks booths are cash and digital transfers.

  2. Will there be first aid or security at the event?

    We take the safety and security of everyone seriously, and will be undertaking necessary measures to ensure this. Throughout the event, armed police officers will be on patrol. Those who require medical assistance can approach any of the roving medics or the first-aid tent (located near the information counter). An ambulance is also on standby at the venue for emergency cases. Should anyone feel unwell or spot any suspicious activity, please alert the working crew on-site.

  3. Can I smoke inside the event grounds?

    This is a no-smoking event. Please note that vaping is prohibited.

  4. Are there toilets at the event?

    Yes, toilets are available within the Kallang Wave Mall and Stadium MRT Station, including handicap toilets.

  5. Will there be diaper changing facilities at the event venue?

    Yes, the nearest diaper-changing facilities can be found within the Kallang Wave Mall.

  6. Will there be a Lost & Found booth at the event?

    Yes. The Lost & Found counter will be located near the First Aid booth. Please return any lost items to the Lost & Found counter or enquire directly at the Information Booth for any missing items. Please refrain from handing over found items to staff members or guards.

  7. Can I bring pets to the event?

    No animals or pets are allowed within the concert area.

  8. What if it rains when the show is on?

    The countdown show area at OCBC Square is sheltered, although not entirely weather-proof. The outdoor screening area at Stadium Roar and Water Sports Centre, however, are not sheltered. We will be monitoring weather conditions according to the National Environment Agency’s weather advisories. Activities will continue in the event of light rain. Should there be heavy rain with the presence of thunder and lightning, all activities will be halted until further notice.

  9. If the weather looks treacherous before the start of the event, will the show be cancelled?

    The Mediacorp Let’s Celebrate 2025 countdown show is a rain or shine event since the concert ground is sheltered. But if there is the threat of inclement weather, the outdoor screening at Stadium Roar and Water Sports Centre might not proceed. Please check our social media platforms for the latest updates, before you head down to the event venue.

  10. How do I get to OCBC Square at the Singapore Sports Hub on 31 Dec?

    Due to the limited parking options at the Singapore Sports Hub, members of the public are encouraged to make their way to Let’s Celebrate 2025 via Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. Train services will be extended on 31 December. The Stadium MRT Station is located along the Circle Line. You can also reach the venue via buses 196, 31, 14 and 155.

  11. Is there a dress code?

    Come dressed comfortably and be ready to party!

  12. What should I bring to the event?

    Since this is a rain or shine event, it is advisable to bring along umbrellas or ponchos in case of light rain, especially if you are planning to watch the concert at Stadium Roar or the Water Sports Centre.

  13. Is the event recorded and aired on TV or digital platforms?

    Yes, the event will air LIVE on mewatch, Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube and Mediacorp TikTok on 31 December from 10.00pm, and also on Channel 5 from 11.00pm. If you are attending the event, Mediacorp may use your images in any live or recorded video displays, photographs, pictures or publicity materials or website.
