Dheive Uthaman, 25
Digital Marketer
Dheive is set to bring her passion for food and marketing to the highly anticipated upcoming season of MasterChef. No stranger to the limelight, the accomplished performer, dancer, and entrepreneur has already made waves in the media industry, with appearances on Vasantham kids' series, advertisements, and on-stage dance performances.

Viewers can expect Dheive to showcase her love of texture, attention to detail, and ability to make a solid foundation for any dish. While her strength lies in baking, she is not afraid to take on any challenge in the kitchen, even if it means confronting her fear of handling meat.
Dhieve once started a cupcake Instagram business to gain first-hand experience in the food industry but her ultimate food dream is to launch a peanut butter business and see her "gorgeously decadent peanut butter" product in grocery store aisles.
Inderpal Singh, 33
Home-based F&B business owner
Known for his infectious sense of humour and mouth-watering dishes, Inderpal is a force to be reckoned with in the MasterChef kitchen.
Inderpal was previously an escalation officer, but he found no satisfaction in his job. It wasn’t until he found a sense of peace and joy when cooking dinner at home that he decided to leave his job and start a home-based food business, selling his signature butter chicken and chapati.
When it comes to culinary idols, Inderpal looks up to Curtis Stone, Reynold Poernomo, and the Australian MasterChef judges, George, Gary, and Matt. One of his greatest influences is Chef Sashi, winner of MasterChef Australia 2018, who put Singaporean and Malaysian food on the MasterChef map!
Inderpal’s love for cooking began in Sikh temples when he was just 5 or 6 years old, helping out in the kitchen with the chefs. He learned the value of community and his dream is to bring people together through the power of food!
Jacky Tan, 41
Marketing Consultant
Jacky's passion for cooking started during the pandemic when he began recreating his favourite dishes from his travels. But what truly inspired him to pursue his culinary dreams was his father, who passed away in 2017 and was a chef himself. Cooking was the way they bonded, and Jacky hopes to honour his father's legacy through his food.
Jacky had always found solace in cooking for his wife during difficult times, proving that food truly has the power to heal. Jacky is an introvert by nature, but his time on stage at ToastMasters has helped him tap into his comedic side and find joy in making people laugh through his cooking. Describing his wife as the “female Gordon Ramsay” in her tough critiques of his food, he is dedicated to improving his cooking form.
Despite failing junior college and having many odd jobs over the years, Jacky has had a successful career in marketing. Jacky has honed his creative skills and is excited to apply them to his food dream: to create a food business with worldwide recognition.

In addition to running her successful start-up, Louise has a passion for teaching cooking classes. Her dream is to share her love of cooking with others through in-person and online classes.

Mandy's positive outlook on life and ability to always look on the bright side has been the key to her success. As a cervical cancer survivor, she knows how important it is to surround oneself with positivity.
Mandy's love for cooking and desire to share her passion with others led her to dream of opening a café-slash-cooking studio where she teaches cooking classes and even possibly publishing a cookbook.
Mandy's strength in using different kinds of kitchen equipment and exotic ingredients makes her a fierce competitor on MasterChef. Her children are her biggest supporters, with her youngest being an avid fan of the show and the one who urged her to join this season.
Tina Amin, 42
Administrative Officer
Tina, a serial cooking show competitor, is back in the kitchen for a chance to prove herself on MasterChef. At 42 years old, Tina has an impressive cooking history.
She began her culinary journey when she was a child, helping her parents run a shop at Raffles Place. Her parents are both excellent cooks, and Tina inherited their love for food.
Tina's talent in the kitchen has already earned her accolades in other cooking competitions, including a 1st runner-up placement in Kek Champion, a baking competition. But she's not content to rest on her laurels, and now she's ready to take on MasterChef. Her style in the kitchen is to "go big or go home," and she's not afraid to take risks and try new things.
Tina's food dream is to start a small, humble café, and she knows that winning MasterChef would be a huge step towards making that dream a reality.
