Mediacorp and Mission International to join hands for new fantasy romance drama set in Singapore and Taiwan
Singapore, 9 September 2025 – Singapore’s largest content creator, Mediacorp and leading Taiwanese production company, Mission International have announced plans to embark on their first ever co-production. Tentatively titled My Cosmic Love 《夜行男神》, the fantasy romance drama is supported by Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority and will feature artistes from Singapore and Taiwan.
My Cosmic Love will tell the story of Sugar46, an alien who inhabits the body of a young male, Jiao Zongtang. While on a mission to find a perfect mate, Sugar46 mistakenly takes on the role of a male PR escort. Through meeting and interacting with women, Sugar46 gradually realises that genuine relationships depend on mutual love and trust – raising the question of whether he will succeed in his mission or discover true love instead.
The drama is the first joint production since a Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2023 between Mediacorp and Mission International – helmed by legendary producer Angie Chai 柴智屏, the creator of hit teen idol drama Meteor Garden 《流星花园》 who also launched numerous talents such as boyband F4 and Dylan Wang 王鹤棣into stardom.

Mediacorp and Mission International have begun work on developing the script for My Cosmic Love and are presently scouting for filming locations in Singapore and Taiwan. Production is expected to commence in 2026.
