Mediacorp and Three Giant Production to collaborate on new print-to-screen adaptation
Singapore, 5 December 2024 – Singapore’s largest content creator, Mediacorp and one of Taiwan’s most established production firms, Three Giant Production have signed a MOU to co-produce a supernatural romance fantasy-themed Chinese drama titled Our Midnight Scary Tales. This is the first-ever collaboration between the two companies, and underscores Mediacorp’s strategic efforts to work with like-minded partners from abroad like Three Giant Production, known for producing renowned titles such as Bump Off Lover 《爱杀17》 which won three awards at the 41st Golden Bell Awards.
Based on the best-selling novel of the same title, Our Midnight Scary Tales tells the intriguing story of a boy with an ability to see spirits who travels to Singapore and falls in love with a girl who longs to reconnect with her deceased grandfather. Blending themes of romance, horror, mystery and personal growth, the drama will be filmed in Singapore and Taiwan, and will bring together both Singaporean and Taiwanese production teams and artistes.

Production on Our Midnight Scary Tales is slated to begin in 2025. More details on the drama will be announced in due course.
