Mediacorp partners TVBS to unveil new cross-border drama 对你心动的预言, featuring award-winning cast
Singapore, 15 April 2026 – Mediacorp today announced a new Chinese-language scripted co-production, 对你心动的预言, in partnership with TVBS, one of Taiwan’s leading media brands. The 10-episode drama, which blends romance, time-travel and suspense elements, brings together talent from Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, with filming set to take place in Taiwan.
First unveiled during Mediacorp’s partnership announcement with TVBS at the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) in December 2025, the project is supported by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore, Ministry of Culture Taiwan, Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) and Kaohsiung Film Fund. This builds on the success of Mediacorp and TVBS’s previous collaboration, Love on a Shoestring, which ranked among the Top 10 titles on Netflix Taiwan in its first week of release.
Slated to premiere in 2027, the series follows university student Yao Kexun, who, after surviving a laboratory explosion, wakes up to discover that a year has passed and her life has changed in unexpected ways – including a new relationship that ends in tragedy. When she is suddenly transported back in time to before the explosion, Kexun realises she has a chance to change what lies ahead. As she grapples with shifting timelines, she must decide whether to rewrite her fate to protect the one she loves or uncover a way for both of them to survive – all while piecing together the truth behind the explosion and her lost memories.
Bringing the story to life is a pan-Asian cast, with Thai actress Aokbab Chutimon (winner of ‘’Best Actress’’ at the 52nd International Emmy Awards for her role in Hunger, and also known for her role in Bad Genius) as Yao Kexun, alongside , Taiwanese actors Edward Chen (陳昊森) (Your Name Engraved Herein, The First Frost) and Tsao Yu-Ning (曹佑寧) (Kano, A Wonderful Journey), and Mediacorp artistes Cai Cheng Jun (蔡程俊) and Guo Liang (郭亮).
Both Mediacorp and TVBS will be closely involved in driving the production, alongside acclaimed actor-director Peter Ho (何潤東), who won ‘’Best Director’’ at the Golden Bell Awards for Age of Rebellion (2018). Ho, who is also collaborating with Mediacorp on another upcoming co-production, See You at 11pm, brings his experience in cross-border storytelling to the project, further strengthening the series’ regional appeal and production value.
Zhang Minsi, Assistant Vice President of Content and Strategic Initiatives, Mediacorp, said: “对你心动的预言 reflects our continued commitment to developing distinctive high-quality Asian stories and nurturing creative talent across Asia. With a strong storyline, an accomplished cast and experienced production team, we are confident this project will connect with viewers, and are proud to be partnering with TVBS to bring it to audiences across the region.”
Steven Hao, Vice President of Entertainment Business Department, TVBS, said: “对你心动的预言 marks not only an expansion of Taiwan’s original content, but also a key milestone in cross-border collaboration. We are honoured to be partnering with Mediacorp, bringing together our respective strengths in content production and market reach. Through this collaboration, we look forward to delivering compelling Chinese-language stories to wider audiences across Asia.”
