Mediacorp rallies behind Team Singapore with the widest coverage of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 in Singapore

Singapore, 26 June 2024 – Get ready to immerse yourself in the exhilarating world of sports and cheer on Team Singapore with the widest coverage of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 in Singapore!

Coverage of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024

From 27 July to 12 August, catch nearly 4,000 hours of the Olympic Games coverage, including live and on-demand sporting action as well as curated highlights, across multiple platforms with Mediacorp. On top of  17 mewatch channels dedicated to the various events, audiences can stay up to date with key highlights on Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel, as well as curated coverage in Daily Action at Paris 2024, and highlights in Today in Paris 2024 and Summary of Paris 2024 on Channel 5. Fans can also cheer on Team Singapore as they bring their A-game to their respective sports, including Athletics, Badminton, Canoeing, Equestrian, Fencing, Rowing, Sailing, Shooting, Swimming, and Table Tennis.

From 29 August to 9 September, Mediacorp will also bring coverage of Team Singapore at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024. Fans can catch the inspirational moments of our para athletes in action at the Paralympic Games, as well as curated highlights on Mediacorp platforms.

The latest updates on the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 will also be presented across Mediacorp’s television, radio and digital news platforms in all four languages. Please refer to Annex A for the details of Mediacorp’s coverage of the Olympic Games. More details on the coverage of Paralympic Games will be announced closer to date.

Road to Paris 2024

Ahead of the actual Games, Mediacorp will also be presenting Road To Paris 2024, a series of videos spotlighting selected Team Singapore athletes and para athletes on mewatch, Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel, CNA and Channel 5 from 26 June, and subsequently Channel 8, Channel U, Suria and Vasantham from 10 July onwards. Leading up to the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, Mediacorp will also showcase Singapore’s para athletes in We Are Marching On, a documentary series highlighting their resilience, as well as a music video of the song March On, performed by Sky Shen, a disability arts advocate and singer-songwriter living with muscular dystrophy. More details will be announced soon.
