Mediacorp YES 933 HITS FEST returns – bigger, bolder and brimming with the best of Mandopop

Singapore, 15 August 2025 – Mediacorp YES 933 HITS FEST (新传媒YES 933 潮流音乐盛典) is back – bigger, bolder, and all set to light up the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 28 September. Building on a spectacular 2023 debut that sold out within an hour, Mediacorp unveiled the full lineup of awardees and performers for its second edition at a launch event at Bugis Junction this evening. Featuring over 10 local and regional acts, the highly anticipated event is poised to once again deliver a seamless blend of award presentations with live performances, promising a grand celebration of the very best of Mandopop.

Themed “My Beat, My Way” (音乐我主宰 潮流新世代), Mediacorp YES 933 HITS FEST 2025 will honour 18 winners across seven categories:

• Artiste Of The Year 年度歌手 (10 awardees)
• Newcomer Of The Year 年度新人 (1 male awardee, 1 female awardee)
• Hit Of The Year 年度金曲 (1 awardee)
• YES 933 Hitmakers YES 933 潮流新势力 (2 awardees)
• SPOP Media Recommendation SPOP 本地推荐 (1 awardee)
• SPOP Best Local Lyrics SPOP最佳作词 (1 awardee)
• SPOP Best Local Composition SPOP最佳作曲 (1 awardee)

Winners for all awards except the “Hit of the Year” were determined through a mix of professional judging, results on Mediacorp YES 933’s iconic weekly music leaderboard Pick of the Pops (醉心龙虎榜) and airplay measurements[1] between the qualifying period of 26 June 2023 and 29 June 2025.

As for the “Hit of the Year”, fans are invited to vote for their favourite tunes at mediacorp.sg/yes933hitsfest between 25 August 2025 and 7 September 2025 to crown the winner. Voting, open to those with a valid meconnect account, is capped at a limit of 10 votes per day per user and will make up 50% of overall assessment, with the remainder made up of 40% professional judging and 10% YES 933 airplay1.

An all-star celebration of Mandopop and beyond: over 10 acts, one unforgettable night

At the heart of this all-star celebration is a powerhouse line-up of local and regional award recipients, each ready to unleash their biggest hits and ignite the Singapore Indoor Stadium with show-stopping sets. From celebrated icons to next-gen trailblazers, they include “Artiste of the Year” awardees – Taiwanese boybands ENERGY and W0LF(s) 五坚情2, who share the honour with Andrew Tan 陈势安, Bii 毕书尽 and Boon Hui Lu 文慧如. Joining them are “Newcomer of the Year” Firdhaus 菲道尔; “YES 933 Hitmakers” DIOR 大颖 and Cheng Huan 承桓; as well as “SPOP Media Recommendation” recipient Sherman Zhuo 卓振声 – all primed to celebrate their wins and set hearts racing with chart-topping hits.

The night’s stellar line-up doesn’t end with the award recipients. In a celebration of music’s universal language, the stage will also feature ONE OR EIGHT, a fast-rising boy group from Japan; singer-songwriter Xiao Bing Chih 萧秉治, rising singer-songwriter ANGIE 安吉; and DJ Inquisitive, who will fire up the crowd with high-octane remixes of Mandopop and K-pop hits. Bringing a homegrown touch, SHIGGA SHAY, Lennerd 林健辉, Yokez 叶玉棂, Jordin 陈卓琳, Elton 李泓伸 and Ruth 魏妙如 will deliver a live rendition of the extravaganza’s 2025 theme song, Music In My Stride 音乐我主宰 2.0  feat. SHIGGA SHAY. And together, the full line-up will ignite a three-hour, non-stop celebration that takes fans on a thrilling ride through the finest of Mandopop.

Tickets for YES 933 HITS FEST 2025 will be available online at mediacorp.sg/yes933hitsfest from 20 August, 10am, and are priced at $58, $48 and $38, excluding booking fees. Fans can unlock an exclusive $8 discount by retrieving a code from the melisten app between 15 August, 7pm, and 20 August, 9.59am.

Audiences who are unable to attend the concert in person may also catch the show live via Channel U, mewatch and the Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel on 28 September, 7pm to 10pm.
