From screens to stations: Mediacorp, Moove Media and SBS Transit unite to bring curated content and enhanced experiences to commuters on the move
Singapore, 9 July 2026 – Singapore’s daily commute is set to become more connected and engaging as Mediacorp, Moove Media and SBS Transit today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore new opportunities that enable people to better discover content and connect with brands on the move. The MOU takes effect immediately from the date of signing.
Signed at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station under the shared vision of “Unlocking Possibilities – Creating Value Through Connections”, the collaboration reflects a shared ambition to connect with audiences whose journeys increasingly span digital, social and physical spaces. Through SBS Transit’s extensive public transport network, serving three million rail and bus passenger journeys daily; Moove Media’s transit media that reaches 70% of Singapore’s daily commuter journeys; and Mediacorp’s content and audience capabilities, the three organisations aim to create a more connected ecosystem that delivers greater value to commuters and advertisers alike.
The collaboration will focus on three key areas: Consumer Engagement, by bringing trusted content and experiences closer to commuters; Joint Advertising Solutions, through integrated, cross-platform offerings for advertisers; and Platform Collaborations, to explore new opportunities that leverage the combined strength of all three organisations.
For commuters, the collaboration aims to make everyday journeys more informative, engaging and connected, with selected Mediacorp content brought closer to audiences as they travel across Singapore’s public transport network, including MRTs, buses and taxis. Commuters can look forward to curated content experiences and trusted news updates, that will add vibrancy to transit spaces, enhance daily commute journeys and foster stronger community connections.
For advertisers, the partnership will explore integrated solutions spanning Mediacorp’s content ecosystem and Moove Media’s out-of-home transit network. These may include bundled advertising offerings, bespoke cross-platform campaigns and enhanced audience measurement capabilities, enabling brands to engage consumers across screens and spaces with greater relevance and measurable impact.
Tham Loke Kheng, CEO, Mediacorp, said: “Whether audiences are at home, online or on the move, our focus is on bringing them trusted, engaging and relevant content wherever they are. This collaboration with Moove Media and SBS Transit allows us to extend Mediacorp stories, news and entertainment into everyday commuter journeys, while creating fresh opportunities for brands to reach audiences in meaningful and measurable ways. We are excited to work with like-minded partners to make Singapore’s transit spaces more vibrant, informative and engaging.”
Jeffrey Kwek, CEO, Moove Media, said: “Out-of-home media has evolved from a channel that simply delivers reach into one that creates connected, measurable audience experiences. Strategically positioned across some of Singapore's busiest transit touchpoints, Moove Media's network engages millions of commuters every day, providing brands with high-reach, high-dwell environments to connect with audiences at moments that matter. Together with SBS Transit and Mediacorp, we are bringing content, data and transit media closer together to enrich the commuter journey while delivering greater impact and accountability for advertisers.”
Jeffrey Sim, Group CEO, SBS Transit, said: “What excites me most is that this partnership is about much more than screens or content. It's about finding new ways to add value to the everyday commute of our passengers. By combining our strengths, we'll bring timely, relevant and engaging content to all 67 of our MRT stations on the North East Line and Downtown Line and Bus Interchanges. Whether it's the latest news, travel updates, inspiring stories or light-hearted entertainment, we want to make the everyday moments more engaging, more informative and more rewarding for our passengers.”
