Singapore Votes 2025 – The Roundtable and 《新加坡大选2025: 政党论政》
Singapore, 25 April 2025 – Mediacorp will host and air two “live” General Election (GE) 2025 roundtables in English and Mandarin across its platforms on 27 April and 29 April respectively.
Similar to GE2020, Mediacorp intended to invite participants from the four political parties fielding the largest number of candidates to the roundtables. However, as there is a tie between two parties for the fourth spot, five parties were invited. All five parties – People's Action Party; Workers' Party; Red Dot United; People's Alliance for Reform; and Progress Singapore Party – have accepted the invitation.
The English question-and-answer programme, entitled Singapore Votes 2025: The Roundtable, will last 90 minutes. It will air “live” via mewatch and melisten on 27 April at 8pm, as well as on CNA, CNA938, and CNA’s digital and social media platforms.
The 60-minute-long Mandarin programme, entitled《新加坡大选2025: 政党论政》Singapore Votes 2025: The Political Forum, will air “live” via mewatch and melisten on 29 April at 9pm, as well as on Channel 8, Mediacorp CAPITAL 958, 8world.com and 8world’s social media platforms.
The roundtables are part of Mediacorp’s comprehensive coverage of GE2025 in all four languages across all its platforms.
All GE2025 programmes and news coverage, including rallies, will be available live or on demand via the mewatch GE microsite at www.mewatch.sg/ge2025.
