  1. What is The Pinwheels all about?

    The Pinwheels honours excellence in local video content and its creators. Nominees will compete to become the 1 winner under each award category.

  2. Why should I participate?

    Your work will be seen / heard by more, establishing credibility and quality assurance amongst stakeholders. And no submission fees involved!

  3. Is this event for Bloomr.SG Creators only?

    No, The Pinwheels is open to all individual and/or group content creators who are Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident and involved in the process of conceptualizing, managing, producing or marketing video content in Singapore.

  4. Will my video be used in any other way?

    Yes, it may be used for purposes relating to the promotion of The Pinwheels.

  5. How do I find out about the results?

    Finalists and winners will be notified prior and invited to grace the ceremony on 3 March 2023 (Fri) either virtually or in-person, depending on the prevailing safe management measures.

  6. What should I do if I don’t get notified?

    The Pinwheels will be made available on Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube and meWATCH. Join us and support your fellow content creators online!

Submissions
  1. Which type of video content can I send across and what should it contain?

    There are altogether 10 video award categories open for nominations. You may select the award category that best fits your content. Your content must be wholly original and have all necessary rights cleared for participation in The Pinwheels prior to submission of your application. All entries must be sent online and set for “public” viewing. It must be produced in Singapore, for the Singapore market and uploaded on any social media platform between 1 November 2021 and 31 October 2022

  2. Can I submit an entry on behalf of another person or group?

    Yes, however all submissions must be original. The entrant must either own the work or have permission from a client or copyright owner to submit an entry, with all rights granted therein. All necessary consents must be obtained, and written proof provided on the application form. Without which, the entry will not be accepted. The Pinwheels is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant. Entries that are deemed to be of poor quality, incomplete, pornographic, plagiaristic, propagandic, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate will be disregarded.

  3. How many entries are allowed under a single award category?

    Up to 3 different video entries per award category are allowed. However, the same video may not be submitted for multiple categories.

  4. How will the entries be judged?

    100% of your video submission will be evaluated based on theoretical (20%) and practical (80%) aspects. Theoretical aspects may include but are not limited to motivations and the inspiration behind the production and practical aspects may include but are not limited to the concept, writing and quality of the production.

  5. I encountered issues with the e-submission and / or have a few questions. How?
